摘要: Devices, systems, and methods for monitoring patient hemodynamic status, systemic vascular resistance, reversal of cardiac and respiratory rates, and patient respiratory volume or effort are disclosed. A peripheral venous pressure is measured and used to detect levels, changes, or problems relating to patient blood volume. The peripheral venous pressure measurement is transformed from the time domain to the frequency domain for analysis. A heart rate frequency is identified, and harmonics of the heart rate frequency are detected and evaluated to determine, among other things, hypovolemia or hypervolemia, systemic vascular resistance, and of cardiac and respiratory rates, and patient respiratory volume or effort.

摘要: A medical fluid delivery system including remote machine updating and control is disclosed. An example medical fluid delivery system includes a medical fluid delivery device for a patient. The medical fluid delivery system also includes a server in communication with the medical fluid delivery device and a software application for a mobile device. The software application causes an icon to be displayed representing the medical fluid delivery device. The medical fluid delivery system further includes a first communication link between the medical fluid delivery device and the server, and a second communication link between the server and the software application. The software application receives status updates from the medical fluid delivery device via the server and the first and second links.

摘要: A method for pairing a dialysis machine with peripheral devices is disclosed. An example method includes receiving, in an intermediate data transfer unit, data related to a patient from at least one of a weight sensor, a blood pressure sensor, or a remote exchange device. The method also includes causing the intermediate data transfer unit to detect a connection of a memory device to a port of the intermediate data transfer unit, and causing the intermediate data transfer unit to store the data to the memory device so that the memory device can be transported to a dialysis machine for transfer of the data from the memory device to the dialysis machine.

摘要: A method of providing filled product bags of sterile and particulate-free fluid includes securing a product bag to one of a plurality of movable cradles, wherein the product bag has a bladder, a stem fluidly connected to an opening of the bladder, and a filter disposed in-line with the stem. After securing the bag, an inlet of the stem is connected to an outlet of a nozzle assembly and at least partially filling the product bag with a fluid through a nozzle of the nozzle assembly to create a filled product bag, wherein filling the product bag includes passing the fluid through the filter and into the bladder. After filling, the stem of the filled product bag is sealed at a location below the filter. The stem is cut at a location above the seal and below the filter. The method including performing an integrity test on the filter, removing the filled product bag from the cradle, and depositing the filled product bag into a first bin for rejected bags if the filter fails the integrity test and a second bin for accepted bags if filter passes the integrity test.
