Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for detecting and acting upon driver compliance with driver-specific limitations, it is determined that a driver of a vehicle has one or more limitations specific to a medical condition and/or a physical characteristic of the driver. Telematics data is received and analyzed to identify a plurality of driving behaviors of the driver. Based upon the driving behaviors, a level of compliance with the limitations is determined. Based upon the level of compliance, at least a portion of a driver profile is set. At least the portion of the profile is transmitted to an entity that adjusts a credit rating of the driver, adjusts an insurance rating of the driver, reviews at least the portion of the profile in connection with a job sought by the driver, or offers a permanent or temporary credit in connection with a good or service offered by the entity. As a result, benefits or cost savings may be provided to risk-averse drivers.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a distributed ledger, such as a blockchain, for managing smart home data. Various entities may edit and/or access the distributed ledger, such as a server (e.g., of the insurance provider), a mobile device (e.g., a tablet, smart phone, or laptop of the insured or of a vendor), a desktop computer (e.g., of the insured or of a vendor), a smart device in a home (e.g., a smart thermostat, a smart carbon monoxide detector, a smart camera or microphone, or any other smart device), a home controller that manages other smart devices, a drone that surveys the home (e.g., for roof or siding damage), etc.

Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for continuously updating information about one or more of a customer approved for a mortgage and a real estate property identified as mortgage ready using computer technology and/or machine learning algorithms or artificial intelligence. The method includes monitoring information corresponding to one or more of the customer or the real estate property; identifying new information about one or more of the customer or the real estate property; updating a computer file and/or memory location/address to include the new information about one or more of the customer or the real estate property; and recalculating one or more of the amount in which the customer is approved for the mortgage or the appraisal value of the real estate property based upon one or more of new information received and the updated information from the computer file and/or memory location/address.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for performing vehicular collision reconstruction and battery conservation for an electric or battery-powered vehicle. In various aspects, an indication of a trigger event may be detected from computer analysis of telematics data gathered by one or more sensors associated with a vehicle. The trigger event may be associated with a vehicle collision. A camera mounted on the vehicle may be activated, based upon the indication of the trigger event, to acquire an image of a second vehicle associated with the vehicle collision. Image data associated with the image may then be transmitted to a remote server computer for analysis of the image data, in which the remove server is capable of generating from the image data, a reconstruction of the vehicle collision, and determining, from the reconstruction of the vehicle collision, a cause of loss associated with the vehicle collision.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method of incentivizing an insurance agent to update a computer file and/or memory location/address. The method includes receiving, at one or more processors, a message indicating an agent updated a computer file and/or memory location/address with information about a customer or a real estate property. The method also includes increasing, via the one or more processors and according to an interval of time, a score of the agent for at least one item of information about one or more of the customer or the real estate property updated to the computer file and/or memory location/address. The method further includes calculating, via the one or more processors, an agent rating based upon the score of the agent, the agent rating used to compute one or more of compensation or bonus of the agent.

Abstract: Vehicle usage-based data, including telematics data, may be utilized to generate and/or adjust one or more terms (e.g., a variable interest rate and/or variable principle amount) of a variable vehicle loan. Telematics data may include, for example, data generated via a vehicle mounted and/or mobile electronic device-mounted sensors. The one or more terms may be additionally or alternatively be adjusted based upon transportation metrics associated with usage of the vehicle by a transportation network company (TNC) and/or TNC driver.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to systems and methods for using a blockchain or shared ledger to handle a total loss of a vehicle associated with a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). A vehicle lifecycle may be tracked on a blockchain according to VIN. If the vehicle suffers a total loss, a transaction is broadcast to the blockchain to update the shared ledger to record the loss status of the vehicle. The blockchain may also include other information, such as mileage, regarding the vehicle and searchable by VIN. The other information and the loss status may be used to determine whether the vehicle likely represents a total loss.

Abstract: The present methods and systems relate to using and accessing data stored in a blockchain, and in particular, interacting with the blockchain and users via smart contracts to handle account funding and distribution methods. The methods and systems include receiving a transaction from a participant, and verifying the transaction, such as by accessing a smart contract stored on the blockchain and checking a set of parameters against a set of conditions stored in the smart contract. Depending on whether the set of parameters satisfy the conditions, the results may be communicated to participants about the success or failure of the transaction.

Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring the use of a shared vehicle are described. In various aspects, telematics data regarding operation of a shared vehicle is collected from one or more sensors, where the shared vehicle is associated with a shared vehicle operator and a shared vehicle stakeholder. One or more processors determine whether a driving event has occurred based upon the telematics data, where the driving event is indicative of improper usage of the shared vehicle by the shared vehicle operator. The one or more processors generate a notification regarding the driving event. The notification includes a driver rating determined from the telematics data regarding operation of the shared vehicle by the shared vehicle operator. The notification is transmitted, via a network, to the shared vehicle stakeholder for presentation to the shared vehicle stakeholder.
