    摘要: An electronic processor of a wireless fob is configured to establish a first communication link between the wireless fob and an external device, and receive, over the first communication link, first identification information and credential information of a power tool device from the external device. The electronic processor is further configured to receive, via the wireless transceiver, an identification signal including second identification information from the power tool device. The electronic processor is further configured to identify the power tool device by determining that the first identification information matches with the second identification information. The electronic processor is further configured to transmit the credential information to the power tool device to establish a second communication link between the wireless fob and the power tool device and transmit, over the second communication link, a command to the power tool device to control an operation of the power tool device.

    摘要: An impact power tool includes a motor, an output shaft to which a tool bit is attachable for performing work on a workpiece, and an impact mechanism disposed between the motor and the output shaft for converting a continuous torque output from the motor to discrete pulses of torque upon the output shaft, the impact mechanism including a cylinder assembly, a cavity defined within the cylinder assembly containing a hydraulic fluid, and a collapsible member having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The collapsible member is maintained in a shape coinciding with that of the cavity by fitment within the cavity, with the first and second ends being disconnected from each other. The collapsible member is collapsible to compensate for thermal expansion of the hydraulic fluid during operation of the impact mechanism.

    摘要: Various face shield assemblies for hard hats are described. In one embodiment, the face shield assembly includes a hard hat, a mounting bracket, a face shield, a first pivot arm and a second pivot arm. The first pivot arm and second pivot arm are pivotally coupled to the hard hat and rotate with respect to the mounting bracket and the face shield. The face shield is coupled to the first pivot arm and the second pivot arm. The face shield actuates between stowed and operating positions such that the face shield can avoid objects near a front of the hard hat, such as a bill and/or lamp. In other embodiments the face shield assembly includes an adjustable frame coupled to the face shield and the hard hat. The adjustable frame rotates and/or slides with respect to the hard hat.

The charger may include a housing defining an air inlet and an air outlet; a charging circuit operable to output a charging current to charge a battery couplable to the battery charger; a tubular heat sink; and a fan operable to cause air flow from the air inlet to the air outlet and along the heat sink. The charger may include a first switch operable to electrically connect the charging circuit to a power source when the battery engages the charger; and a second switch operable to electrically connect the charging circuit to a battery terminal after the charger terminal is electrically connected to the battery terminal. The charging current or a fan speed may be adjusted based on at least one of the temperature of the charger or a temperature of the battery.
