    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive information identifying an offset between a start of a frame on a first component carrier and a start of a frame on a second component carrier, wherein the first component carrier is one of a primary cell (PCell) or a secondary cell (SCell), and wherein the second component carrier is the other of the PCell or the SCell; determine that a slot on the first component carrier is aligned with a slot on the second component carrier; identify the slot on the second component carrier in accordance with the offset; and communicate on the first component carrier or the second component carrier based at least in part on the start of the slot on the second component carrier.     Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve UE positioning by providing enhanced resource patterns that may reduce positioning latency and resource overhead for the UE positioning. In one aspect, a transmitter divides a reference signal associated with UE positioning into a plurality of sub-bandwidths, each of the plurality of sub-bandwidths being associated with a comb offset. The transmitter transmits, to a receiver, the reference signal via the plurality of sub-bandwidths. In another aspect, a receiver receives a configuration to measure a reference signal associated with UE positioning. The receiver receives, from a transmitter, the reference signal via a plurality of sub-bandwidths, each of the plurality of sub-bandwidths being associated with a comb offset.

    Abstract: In a wireless network, a frame structure may include a padding duration at the start of every half subframe to ensure that an integer number of symbols fit within a duration of the half subframe. In some aspects, to avoid wasting time domain resources, the padding duration may be utilized for other purposes. For example, because a single carrier waveform is not bound to a fixed Fast Fourier Transform size, a wireless node may use the padding duration to transmit a single carrier symbol that has a shorter length than a full symbol associated with a subcarrier spacing. Additionally, or alternatively, in cases where a wireless node is configured to transmit or receive a signal in a first symbol of a half subframe that is associated with a different power level than a preceding symbol, the padding duration may be used to adapt a transmit power or a receive gain.
