Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a beam used for communicating with a network entity, the beam associated with multiple bandwidth parts (BWPs) including a reference BWP with a first frequency. The UE may receive a BWP configuration from the network entity, the BWP configuration based on changing a frequency for at least one BWP of the multiple BWPs form the first frequency to a second frequency. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may identify a timing threshold associated with a BWP switching operation for multiple BWPs associated with the beam. The UE may switch from the first BWP to a second BWP during the timing threshold. The UE may communicate with the network entity according to the BWP configuration or the second BWP.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring sidelink slots without symbols for automatic gain control. One aspect provides a method for wireless communication by a user equipment, including receiving a first cyclic prefix of a first symbol within a slot at the user equipment. The method further includes configuring a first automatic gain control setting based on a received power in the first cyclic prefix of the first symbol, and receiving a data portion of the first symbol using the first automatic gain control setting.

Abstract: A wireless communication device can flexibly change subcarrier spacing (SCS) and/or cyclic prefix (CP) in wireless communication. The wireless communication device can transmit, in a first sidelink resource of a sidelink resource pool, a first sidelink transmission using a first configuration of suhcarrier spacing (SCS) and cyclic prefix (CP). The wireless communication device can further transmit, in a second sidelink resource of the sidelink resource pool., a second sidelink transmission using a second configuration of SCS and CP, the second configuration being different from the first configuration in terms of at least one of an SCS or a CP. The techniques allow more efficient switching between SCS and CP configurations withing a resource pool, in the same bandwidth part.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may improve UE positioning by providing enhanced resource patterns that may reduce positioning latency and resource overhead for the UE positioning. Abstract: In a wireless network, a frame structure may include a padding duration at the start of every half subframe to ensure that an integer number of symbols fit within a duration of the half subframe. In some aspects, to avoid wasting time domain resources, the padding duration may be utilized for other purposes. For example, because a single carrier waveform is not bound to a fixed Fast Fourier Transform size, a wireless node may use the padding duration to transmit a single carrier symbol that has a shorter length than a full symbol associated with a subcarrier spacing. Additionally, or alternatively, in cases where a wireless node is configured to transmit or receive a signal in a first symbol of a half subframe that is associated with a different power level than a preceding symbol, the padding duration may be used to adapt a transmit power or a receive gain.
