    摘要: An automatic defect detection method for detecting a defect in an object comprises: obtaining ultrasound scan data of the object, dividing echo amplitude values of the data into a plurality of sub-sets; assessing each sub-set to determine whether any echo amplitude values resulted from a structure of interest; computing for each sub-set, using at least a representative position of the structure portion of the sub-set and of a neighboring sub-set, a preselected mathematical function which is directly or inversely proportional to a distance between the representative positions; identifying sub-sets having a computed value that does not meet a predetermined criterion as regions of the ultrasound scan data that require inspection; issuing a notification indicating whether or not a region requiring inspection has been found; and if a region requiring inspection been found, storing data identifying the region in a database.

    摘要: A system determines to use at least two independent renderers to render at least two output streams that are to be synchronized. The independent renderers are provided with a shared synchronization object when instructed to render the respective output stream. A time when all of the independent renderers can render a respective first buffer of the respective output stream is determined from the shared synchronization object. Rendering of the output streams utilizing the independent renderers is begun at the determined time. In this way, rendering of the output streams may be synchronized.

    摘要: The subject matter described herein includes methods, systems, and computer readable media for synthesizing sounds using estimated material parameters. According to one aspect, a method for sound synthesis using estimated material parameters is provided. The method includes at a computing platform including a memory and a processor, estimating, by the processor and based on a recorded audio sample of an impact on a physical object, one or more material parameters of a physical object for use in synthesizing a sound associated with a virtual object having material properties similar to the physical object. The method further includes storing the one or more material parameters in memory. The method further includes using the estimated material parameters to generate a synthesize sound for the virtual object.

A synthesized separated audio signal generating section 7 generates a synthesized separated audio signal for each tone using parameters other than the harmonic peak parameters and the replaced harmonic peak parameters.

    摘要: The audio process is a signal path having a plurality of filters connected or including distortion means. The prime example of this phenomenon surrounds inductances such as found in magnetic tape recorders, spring reverberators, and transformers. The inductors require a pre-emphasis filter to produce a constant current. Secondarily there are the complementary filters associated with the average spectrum of audio which are used to maximize the signal to noise ratio. Ideally the net response of the filters is flat, however, roll-offs at the audio extremes are quite common. The audio process distortion emulates the distortion of the active devices between the filters such as vacuum tube and magnet non-linearities. Since the distortion devices follow filters, the spectra of distortion is different than the frequency response.

The preamplifier and output stages use non-linear means for the emulation of triode amplifiers, cathode followers, phase splitters, and pentode amplifiers. The features emulated are the grid conduction with scaling and offsetting, current gain, plate voltage and current characteristics, and compression.
