Provided here is a system for reducing network traffic by compressing map data, comprising: a data set receiver configured to obtain first two or more values associated with first two or more pixels; a prediction difference recorder configured to: (a) predict a next value associated with a next pixel based on the first two or more values, wherein the next pixel is immediately adjacent to one of the first two or more pixels; (b) predict a further next value associated with a further next pixel based on previous two or more values associated with previous two or more pixels, wherein the further next pixel is immediately adjacent to one of the previous two or more pixels; and (c) record an error in the predicted next value and in the predicted further next value; a render engine configured to encode the recorded error into colors.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to generation of accurate measurement information for a structure including a building of interest. A single passive image capture device (e.g., hand held devices such as cellular telephones and tablets) can generate two-dimensional (2D) images that overlap with regard to a building element of interest.     摘要: A method, a device and a system for cooperatively constructing a point cloud map, relating to the field of point cloud map construction. The method includes acquiring point cloud data of corresponding road sections respectively acquired by a plurality of vehicles when moving on different road sections, an overlap region being provided between any first road section and second road section which are adjacent; determining, by using the point cloud data of the overlap region, a transformation matrix for transforming the point cloud data of the second road section into the point cloud data of the first road section; using the transformation matrix to transform the point cloud data of the second road section; and splicing the point cloud data of the first road section and the transformed point cloud data of the second road section to construct a point cloud map of the preset route.
