Abstract: Systems and methods for in-context editing of web pages in which the production format of a web page is visible while the web page is being edited, and the editable image is not distorted by the editing tools. In one embodiment, a system includes a server computer, a client computer and a transmission channel coupled between them. The server computer receives a request for a web page from the client computer and responsively transmits a web page containing in-context editing tools to the client computer. The client computer operate alternately in a first mode in which the in-context editing tools are superimposed on a web page image, or a second mode in which the web page image is displayed, but the in-context editing tools are hidden. The tools overlay in the first mode does not alter the production format of the web page image as displayed in the second mode.

Abstract: A compose form for drafting a message is presented inline within a window along with a message list. For example, instead of overlaying the message application's user interface (UI) with a new window for composing a message, the compose form is displayed within a portion of the window reserved for viewing content of messages. While composing the message using the compose form, the rest of the message application's UI remains visible and accessible to the user. For example, the user may navigate to another folder and/or move to another message/conversation by interacting with the tree view/message list view. A draft of the message being composed may be automatically saved when the user navigates away from the compose form (e.g. by selecting another conversation in the list view).

Abstract: Display of supplemental information about selected e-book object. A method identifies relationships between objects of a plurality of objects presented in an electronic book. The plurality of objects include character and non-character objects presented in the electronic book. The method selects a first object, of the plurality of objects, presented on a display of an electronic device as part of presenting the electronic book on the display. A determination is made as to which of the identified relationships is between the first object and one or more second objects of the electronic book and has been presented in displayed portions of the electronic book. This determination indicates at least one relationship of the identified relationships. The method displays supplemental information about the selected first object, the supplemental information including one or more depictions of the indicated at least one relationship.

Abstract: A computerized method for automatically generating display content includes receiving a uniform resource locator, wherein the uniform resource locator specifies a landing resource and extracting visual information from the landing resource, wherein the visual information defines one or more images, texts, and colors displayed on the landing resource. The method further includes selecting one or more images, one or more text snippets, and one or more colors based on the visual information extracted from the landing resource, generating a layout for a content item based on one or more of the selected images or selected text snippets, and assembling the content item by applying the selected images, the selected text snippets, and the selected colors to the generated layout.

Abstract: Techniques are described for populating visual designs with web content. In implementations, a document design is generated via a digital media application. The document design includes a layout of repeating design elements, such as a grid or table of repeating areas each having various design elements. Web content having a structured arrangement of data elements is accessed through a data panel exposed via the application. The web content data may be linked to the document design to populate elements of the document design with “real-world” data. To do so, the web content is to detect semantically similar repeating data elements by based on element positions, node types, style types, and node hierarchies reflected by structured data defining the web content. Design elements in the layout of the document design are then auto-populated with content of the semantically similar repeating data elements to produce a preview linked to “real-world” data.

Abstract: A system receives a page request for a requested document, where the requested document specifies a set of first images as being presentable within the requested document. In response to the received page request, the system modifies the requested document and generates a modified document. The modified document specifies a second image that is to be generated based on the set of first images. The system generates the second image, based on the set of first images, and provides the modified document and access to the second image. The second image is an aggregation of the first images, which are represented within the second image as sprites to be rendered with the modified document. The modified document may use these sprites by specifying regions within the second image as being presentable within the modified document, where these regions correspond to the first images.

Abstract: Embodiments relating to a regulated taxonomy system (“RTS”) are described. A user, when performing a communication with another party, may be provided with pieces of regulated taxonomy. Association of a piece of regulated taxonomy may facilitate actions to be performed with reference to the communication or piece of content. The RTS may interact with one or more devices to present pieces of taxonomy to a user and to receive a selection of taxonomy. The device may perform or modify actions which may be taken with relation to the piece of content or communication. The RTS may also generate pieces of taxonomy by reviewing content. The RTS may provide for one or more approvers to review taxonomy and/or generate new taxonomy. The RTS may also be configured to modify regulated taxonomy according to actions which have been performed. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

Abstract: In a method for dynamically highlighting repetitive text in electronic documents, obtaining one or more user preferences related to a user reading an electronic document. The method further includes determining whether the electronic document contains one or more repetitive text associations, wherein a repetitive text association is data that provides one or more indications of repetitive text segments interspersed within a document. In response to determining that the electronic document contains one or more repetitive text associations, the method further includes identifying one or more repetitive text segments in the electronic document corresponding to the one or more repetitive text associations and determining a time duration expended by the user reading an instance of the identified one or more repetitive text segments within the electronic document. The method further includes highlighting the identified one or more repetitive text segments within the electronic document based one or more obtained user preferences.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are provided to detect similarities in clinical documents that might be inaccurate or inappropriate. A first clinical document and a second clinical document that are to be compared are identified. This identification of the documents is based on times associated with the first and second clinical documents, an identity of clinicians who authored the first and second clinical documents, an identity of patients associated with the first and second clinical documents, a type of the first and second clinical documents, or contents of the first and second clinical documents. The first clinical document is compared to a portion of the second clinical document. A report is automatically generated, where the report indicates the similarities between the portion of the first clinical document and the portion of the second clinical document that are potentially inaccurate or inappropriate.
