    摘要: The invention relates to a method for processing and producing a surface of a material with a reproducible degree of lustre and to a press for carrying out said method. The aim of the invention is to increase the stability of the press. To achieve this, a press is provided with a coating that consists of carbon with diamond-like layers and that adheres to the surface of the press. Said coating has a layer thickness of between 0.1 and 10 μm and a surface hardness in excess of 1800 HV (Vickers). The attrition of the surface of the press is thus significantly reduced during the processing of abrasion-resistant materials.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing large thin wall ceramics board includes pulverizing and uniformly mixing, in dry content conversion, plasticity clay in an amount of 30-40% by weight, wollastonite having an aspect ratio of more than 10 in an amount of 20-50% by weight, and feldspar and talc in an amount of 10 50% by weight to form a mixture. The mixture is added with a solution having a 16-21% weight of the weight of this mixture. The solution has 10% by weight of a paraffin emulsion. The clay-like composition is extruded with a vacuum kneading machine to form a cylindrical shape. The extruded clay-like composition is made into dough board compact of desired thickness after being partially cut parallel to the cylinder. The dough board compact is heated to approximately 80 degrees Celsius with far infrared radiation. The heated dough board is transported on a heat proof metal mesh belt having temperature of between 80 and 150 degrees Celsius, and then gradually heated and dried at 150 to 350 degrees Celsius to dehydrate the dough board. The dehydrated bough board is baked at 1000-1200 degrees Celsius in roller hearth kiln combustion heating device.

Also disclosed is a molding apparatus for a plastic sheet using the pressure roll. According to the pressure roll and the molding apparatus using the pressure roll, when a resin extruded sheet interposed between the pressure roll and a main cooling roll is pressed onto the main cooling roll, the outermost layer of the pressure roll is elastically deformed slightly to apply a surface pressure onto the resin extruded sheet, while cooling the plastic sheet. Accordingly, even if the pressure applied to the plastic sheet is increased, the plastic sheet is not broken and the plastic sheet can be efficiently cooled due to the wide cooling area. Moreover, an extremely thin extruded sheet having an excellent surface condition can be prepared.

    摘要: The disclosure describes a drum or roll which may be heated to high operating temperatures and is particularly useful in situations where a high heat flux is required under conditions of high nip and distributed loads on the drum. It consists of a relatively thin rotating shell supported on an axially located stationary inner core. The core has a plurality of shell support bearings. These have close radial clearances with the inner surface of the shell at each location where an extrnal nip roll would be engaged. The spaces between the shell support bearings form pressurizable chambers. These chambers can be filled with a hot pressurized fluid for supporting the shell between the supports located at the nip positions. In one application the roll would be used as the drum in a belt and drum press having high nip loads at several locations and high distributed loads applied by a tensioned belt. The fluid support system for the rotatable shell enables a very thin shell to be used. This permits the desired heat flux while still maintaining the mechanical integrity to support the applied loads. Operating temperatures of the roll could range up to 800.degree. F. with multiple nip loads typically being up to 1000 to 2000 pounds per linear inch and 100-800 psi unit pressure, and with distributed loads between the nips of up to 50 psi. High thermal conductivity materials such as copper or aluminum may be used as shell material to reduce temperature differential and thermal stress.

    摘要: Method in an adjustable-crown roll, in which a series of hydraulic loading elements is used. A central axle of the roll is supported by axle journals, by means of deflection bearings. A cross-section of the central axle is shaped such that the axle has sufficiently high rigidity in a nip plane. In the method, the central axle is rotated about its deflection bearings over an angle, which may be within the range of about 30.degree. to 180.degree.. A free space that is created or enlarged between the central axle and a roll mantle thereby, and provided between the central axle and an inner surface of the roll mantle, is utilized as an opening gap for the nip formed by the variable-crown roll, by allowing the roll mantle to be shifted, e.g. by the effect of gravity, or by affirmatively shifting the mantle relative to the rotated central axle.
