Abstract: Systems and methods for ultra-protected scheduling are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a first node includes determining a part of radio resources on which some traffic types can only be scheduled using ultra-protected scheduling messages. The method also includes scheduling a second node to use the part of the radio resources using an ultra-protected scheduling message. In some embodiments, the part of the radio resources is used for Ultra Reliable Communication (URC) and scheduling the second node to use the part of the radio resources for non-URC transmissions. In this way, there may be reduced risk that any node incorrectly transmits in the part of the radio resources and interferes with traffic on the part.

Abstract: A method performed by a first communication node (511) in communication with a second communication node (512). The second node (512) is a receiver or transmitter of data in a frame (800). The frame (800) comprises one first set of time-frequency resources (801) reserved for control information, and a second set of time-frequency resources (802) reserved for data. The first node (511) determines that a third set (803) is to be used for communication of information with a third communication node (513). The information is control information, data information, or one or more signals related to one or more measurement procedures. The first node (511) determines a direction of communication in the third set (803), based on the information to be communicated. The first node (511) performs transmission or reception to or from the third node (513) in the determined direction, and in the third set (803).

Abstract: A method for performing transmission or reception by a first communication node (511) in at least one of: a first set of time-frequency resources (1201) and a second set of time-frequency resources (1202) in a frame (1200). The first and the second set of time-frequency resources (1201, 1202) are reserved for communication of reference signal and/or control information in a pre-arranged direction of: transmission and reception to or from one or more second communication nodes (512). The first communication node determines (1301) that the direction of communication of at least one of the first and second set is to be switched for at least one frame (1200). The first communication node also performs (1306) transmission or reception of control information in at least one of the first and second set of time-frequency resources (1202) according to the determined switched direction to or from, one or more third communication nodes (513).

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to the field of resource allocation. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to a technique of allocating communication resources in a wireless communication network. The wireless communication network comprises a plurality of access nodes, each of the plurality of access nodes being connected to one or more of the plurality of access nodes via one or more links to provide a plurality of routes for routing data through the wireless communication network. A method embodiment comprises the step of receiving, for one or more links (180, 182) of at least one access node (100) of the plurality of access nodes, allocation information. The allocation information indicates how available communication resources are to be allocated. The method comprises allocating, for the one or more links (180, 182) of the at least one access node (100), the available communication resources based on the received allocation information and a status of one or more data buffers of the at least one access node (100) for buffering data related to one or more of the plurality of routes.
