    Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communications. For instance, a network entity can transmit, to an aerial user equipment (UE), policy information associated with a communication interface of a wireless network. The policy information can include a respective policy corresponding to each aerial zone identifier of a plurality of aerial zone identifiers. The network entity can determine a mapping of a plurality of aerial zones to one or more cells of the wireless network, wherein the mapping is indicative of one or more aerial zone identifiers associated with each respective cell of the one or more cells. The network entity can transmit, based on the mapping, at least one aerial zone identifier associated with a first cell of the one or more cells.

In some aspects, a radio access network (RAN) node may transmit, to an access and mobility function (AMF) of a core network, a request associated with a location-based state of a user equipment (UE) served by the RAN node. For example, the location-based state of the UE may be associated with whether the UE is flying or whether the UE is driving. Accordingly, the RAN node may receive a message in response to the request. The RAN node may receive the message in response to the request from the AMF. Alternatively, the AMF may establish a connection between the RAN node and a location management function (LMF) of the core network such that the RAN node receives the message in response to the request from the LMF.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques that may be applied, for example, in a multi-slice network for maintaining privacy when attempting to access the network.     Abstract: One aspect relates to initiating, by a device, a connection with an application server associated with one or more application services. A gateway derives an uplink network token and/or a downlink network token. The tokens are provisioned to the device and/or an application server over the user-plane. The tokens are included with uplink and/or downlink packets, respectively. Another aspect relates to receiving a data packet at a gateway. The gateway determines a requirement for a network token from the packet. The gateway derives the network token based on a device subscription profile maintained by a network. The network token may be sent with the packet to a destination address associated with the packet. A packet including a network token may be received at a gateway. The gateway may verify the network token and send the data packet to an application server or a device if the verifying is successful.

    Abstract: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) usually have associated categories based on characteristics of the UAVs and characteristics of flights for the UAVs. These categories are provided to a UAV service supplier (USS) when the UAV registers with the USS and when the UAV submits flight plans to the USS for approval. Such categories are not provided to a wireless communication network that the UAV will use during flight. However, the wireless communication network cannot effectively prioritize service to some UAVs over other UAVs without these categories. Techniques and apparatuses described herein provide categories associated with UAVs to a mobile network that will provide service to the UAVs during flight. The categories may allow the mobile network to prioritize traffic to render operable UAVs that require low-latency communications, such as UAVs using autonomous navigation software, as well as reduce risk to UAVs engaged in high-risk or high-priority missions.

    Abstract: Some aspects described herein relate to provisioning aerial vehicles with identifiers, certificates, or other credentials for communicating based on a mobile network. The UAV can transmit a request to register with the mobile network, where the request includes at least a hardware identifier of the UAV.
