In some aspects, a transmitter device may transmit a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) communication using a first code block order for code blocks of the HARQ communication; detect a trigger to retransmit the HARQ communication based at least in part on transmitting the HARQ communication; reorder the code blocks of the HARQ communication based at least in part on detecting the trigger to retransmit the HARQ communication; and retransmit the HARQ communication using a second code block order based at least in part on reordering the code blocks of the HARQ communication. Abstract: A UE receives a first indication of a Wake-Up Signal (WUS) resource for another UE. The UE identifies a conflict between a resource allocated to the UE and the WUS resource for the other UE based on the first indication. The UE modifies communication with a base station in the resource in response to the identifying of the conflict. A base station identifies a conflict between a resource for communication with a first UE and a WUS for another UE and modifies the communication with the first UE in the resource in response to identifying the conflict.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to low density parity check (LDPC) coding utilizing LDPC base graphs. Two or more LDPC base graphs may be maintained that are associated with different ranges of overlapping information block lengths. A particular LDPC base graph may be selected for an information block based on the information block length of the information block. Additional metrics that may be considered when selecting the LDPC base graph may include the code rate utilized to encode the information block and/or the lift size applied to each LDPC base graph to produce the information block length of the information block.

A user equipment (UE) may support efficient techniques for a capability based solution for handling an out-of-order operation for processing multiple downlink channels. In some cases, the UE may indicate, to a base station, a number of processing units needed to support a given priority class of communications with the base station, a maximum possible data rate per priority class of communications, or different numbers of component carriers (e.g., and a number of layers) that can be used for each priority class of communications. The base station may then configure the UE to receive and/or transmit channels of different priority classes based on the indication to not exceed the number of processing units, the maximum data rate, the number of component carriers, etc. for a corresponding priority class.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, wireless devices may encode and decode transmissions using polar codes. A transmitting device may encode a payload based on a selected payload size. For example, the transmitting device may construct a bit vector including payload bits, parity bits, frozen bits, or some combination of these, and may modify the bits or the order of the bits based on the selected payload size. The device may generate a polar-encoded codeword based on this bit vector, and may transmit the polar-encoded codeword to a receiving device. The receiving device may blind decode the polar-encoded codeword, and may determine the correct payload size based on the decoded bit vector. For example, the device may perform decoding or may check decoded bits based on a payload size hypothesis, where the decoding may fail for any incorrect payload size hypothesis.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine to decode or refrain from decoding a transport block (TB) transmitted from a base station based on a decodability condition. The decodability condition may include whether an effective UE throughput for decoding the TB is greater than a predetermined decoding throughput threshold or not. If the effective UE throughput is greater than the predetermined decoding throughput threshold, the UE may refrain from decoding the TB. In some cases, the TB may be a subsequent transmission from the base station based on an initial transmission not being correctly decoded, and the UE may refrain from decoding the subsequent transmission.

The wireless device may monitor the second resource pool during a second portion of the first time period for the time threshold, the second resource pool including resources for communications between the first wireless device and a third wireless device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for prioritization of sidelink communications of a user equipment (UE) with one or more access link communications. A prioritization scheme may provide inter-UE and intra-UE prioritization that may be used to prioritize sidelink communications and one or more access link communications. Inter-UE prioritization may be used at the UE to determine whether to cancel all or a portion of a sidelink communication that uses resources indicated in a cancellation indication from a base station, or to transmit the sidelink communication irrespective of the cancellation indication. Intra-UE prioritization may be used at the UE to determine which of one or more access link communications or a sidelink communication is to be maintained or canceled in the event of overlapping resources between the access link and sidelink communications.
