    摘要： In at least certain embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for making a vehicle interior trim panel. The method comprises providing a spray mold, heating the spray mold to a first temperature, spraying powdered polymeric material proximate the surface of the tool to form a polymeric skin layer, and cooling the spray mold to a second temperature. The method further comprises removing the skin layer from the tool and positioning the skin layer in a mold in a spaced apart relationship from a substrate, and introducing a foam material between the substrate and the skin layer to form a foam layer between the substrate and the skin layer.

The system having a plurality of weigh sites located remotely from one another and a weighmaster located at a central location. The weighmaster verifies proper placement of the vehicle upon the scale, may facilitate a normal weighing process, and may interact with the driver before issuing a certificate of weight. The method of the present invention includes steps of initiating a weigh cycle, delegating a weighmaster located at a central location for the weigh cycle, establishing communication between a driver and the weighmaster, weighing the vehicle, downloading weight information to the central location, and dispensing a certificate of weight at the weigh site.

    摘要： An apparatus carries out measurements of blood glucose in a repeatable, non-invasive manner by measurement of the rate of regeneration of retinal visual pigments, such as cone visual pigments. The rate of regeneration of visual pigments is dependent upon the blood glucose concentration, and by measuring the visual pigment regeneration rate, blood glucose concentration can be accurately determined. This apparatus exposes the retina to light of selected wavelengths in selected distributions and subsequently analyzes the reflection (as color or darkness) from a selected portion of the exposed region of the retina, preferably from the fovea.

    摘要： A prepared food heating and holding cabinet is provided with an improved touch control switch and digital display assembly. The touch control and display assembly replacing the prior art display which has a membrane switch technology prone to early environmental and thermal failure. The touch control and digital display of the disclosed invention assembly having sealed PC board mounted switches mounted behind a rigid metallic front panel substrate. The front panel having a graphically imprinted polyester overlay which can tolerate relatively harsh temperature environments such as found on a heated food holding cabinet. The polyester overlay providing environmental isolation of the electronics and switches from the oil, grease and steam laden food service environment. The sealed switches providing even further isolation and protection of the electrical switch contacts from the harsh environment. The assembly further designed to provide a low cost parts service alternative to the prior art, wherein the polyester overlay, if it fails, can be replaced along with the substrate without replacing the touch control and display electronics.
