摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a latent-image carrier, a developing unit, a transfer unit, a cleaning unit, a recovered-toner supply unit, and a foreign-matter collecting unit. The developing unit carries a developer containing a toner and develops an electrostatic latent image on the latent-image carrier with the toner. The transfer unit transfers the toner developed on the latent-image carrier to a recording material directly or via an intermediate transfer body. The cleaning unit removes a toner remaining on at least one of the latent-image carrier and the intermediate transfer medium after the transfer. The recovered-toner supply unit supplies a toner removed by the cleaning unit to the developing unit again. The foreign-matter collecting unit collects a foreign matter, which is mixed into the toner supplied from the recovered-toner supply unit and moved onto the latent-image carrier by the developing unit, before the transfer by the transfer unit.

摘要: When an ionization section is taken out of a main body housing of a conventional air cleaner in order to wash the ionization section, an ionization line may be cut by being accidentally touched. In order to avoid this problem, a pre-filter (7) is mounted on a front surface of an ionization and dust collection unit (6) so as to be detachable. The pre-filter (7) is slidably guided by guide furrings (23) in a sub-frame (12), and is mounted on a front surface of the sub-frame (12). When the pre-filter (7) is mounted, ionization lines (15) are not exposed, so that the pre-filter (7) protects the ionization lines (15). When the ionization and dust collection unit (6) is detached from the main body housing, therefore, there is no problem that the ionization lines (15) might be cut by being accidentally touched with worker's hands, for example.

摘要: The present invention discloses a carrier, which comprises a core and a resin coating layer formed thereon containing electroconductive powder, wherein, when the magnetic brush is formed only of the core, the dynamic electrical resistance of the core forming the magnetic brush under an electric field of 104 V/cm is 1 &OHgr;·cm or less and the electrical resistance of the resin coating layer is from 10 to 1×108 &OHgr;·cm, a developer using the carrier, and an image-forming method using the developer. Owing to the present invention, a superior solid image, which is free of brush marks and carrier beads carry over, can be obtained.

摘要: A container closure comprising a container closure shell and a resin liner applied to the inner surface side of the shell, wherein the resin liner is constituted by an upper layer portion which is composed of a resin composition containing such additives as disoxidation agent, drying agent, deodorant, antibacterial agent and thermo color agent and which forms a panel portion on the inside of the hermetically sealing portion, a lower layer portion which is composed of a thermoplastic resin having cushioning property and elasticity and which is interposed between the upper layer portion and the top surface of the shell to join them together, and a hermetically sealing portion which is formed on the outer peripheral side of the panel portion integrally with the lower layer portion. There is further provided a container closure with liner of the function separation type which is free from defects inherent in the conventional function addition-type container closures with liner, and which permits additional functions to be exhibited to a high degree without impairing hermetically sealing property, and a method of producing the same. Moreover, there is provided a method of producing the container closure with liner of the function separation type maintaining excellent produceability and high quality.
