摘要: A frame for a plate heat exchanger includes a head and a follower, a plurality of rib assemblies, and a plurality of tie bar assemblies. Each of the head and the follower includes a plurality of interlocking rib cutouts. Each rib assembly includes a pair of ribs. Each rib includes a first grip disposed at a first end of the rib, a second grip disposed at a second end of the rib, a first cradle disposed at the first end of the rib, and a second cradle disposed at the second end of the rib. Both the first cradle and the second cradle include a cradle bearing surface. Each tie bar assembly includes a tie bar, a nut, and a tie bar bearing surface to bear upon the cradle bearing surface.

摘要: A thermal ground plane includes a casing having a first casing portion and a second casing portion, the first casing portion united with the second case portion via an ultrasonic weldment so as to delimit a hermetically sealed casing chamber. A phase-change media, a wicking structure and a spacing element are further characteristic of the device, each of which resides within the casing member. The wicking structure is adjacent the first casing portion of the casing, with the spacing element intermediate the wicking structure and the second casing portion.

摘要: A heat dissipation device includes a mounting bracket and a thermal module. The mounting bracket has at least one retaining hole and a mounting section, and the thermal module includes a plurality of radiating fins, to which the mounting bracket is connected. On the radiating fins, at least one engaging zone is provided for correspondingly engaging with the mounting bracket, and at least one locking portion is formed for correspondingly engaging with the retaining hole. With the above structural design, the mounting bracket can be more firmly and stably connected to the thermal module and be more accurately located on the radiating fins without the need of welding, so that the manufacturing cost for welding is saved. A method of manufacturing the heat dissipation device is also disclosed.

The seal further includes a second layer made of a second non-metallic, heat resistant material. The second layer is configured to thermally protect the first layer from heat. 摘要: A heat exchanger is comprised of two heat exchanger sections, at least one of which is provided with a floating header to accommodate differential thermal expansion. The two heat exchanger sections are enclosed by an inner shell wall, and an external connecting passage is provided outside the inner shell wall, through which one of the fluids flows between the two heat exchanger sections. The external connecting passage is enclosed by an outer shell. The inner wall is provided with openings which communicate with the external connecting passage. The openings may be in the form of a substantially continuous gap or discrete openings. Specific examples of heat exchangers with this construction include a steam generator, a steam generator and combined catalytic converter, and a water gas shift reactor.

摘要: A thermal module connection structure providing a substrate, a heat generation unit disposed on the substrate, includes: a heat dissipation unit disposed on the heat generation unit, a protrusion section outward extending from each of two sides of the heat dissipation unit; and a locating assembly including a first locating member and a second locating member mounted on two sides of the heat generation unit, which sides are free from the protrusion sections. A carrier member is disposed at each of two ends of the first locating member. The protrusion sections of the heat dissipation unit are positioned on the carrier members. One end of the carrier member is pivotally connected with the first locating member, while the other end is latched with the second locating member. The carrier member has a press member for pressing the protrusion section against the carrier member to fix the heat dissipation unit.
