Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a monitoring system and method for wellsite equipment, used for monitoring abnormities in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment, wherein the monitoring system for wellsite equipment comprises:
a dynamic capturing module comprising a video acquisition unit and a dynamic analysis unit, wherein, the video acquisition unit acquires video signals in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment, and the motion analysis unit analyzes and determines whether there is abnormal dynamic activity in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment based on acquired video signals;
a temperature detection module comprising a temperature acquisition unit and a temperature analysis unit, wherein the temperature acquisition unit acquires temperature distribution in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment, and the temperature analysis unit analyzes and obtains temperature information in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment based on acquired temperature distribution, and determines whether there is temperature anomaly in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment based on the temperature information; and
an information processing module configured to determine type of fault in the monitoring area of wellsite equipment based on considering the abnormal dynamic activity and the temperature anomaly separately or both.-

Abstract: Computer vision drilling systems and methods may be used with a drilling rig. The computer vision systems and methods may be used during drilling of a well to monitor the drilling equipment and personnel on the drilling site to provide safer drilling operations. The results from the computer vision drilling system may be used to cause corrective actions to be performed if a safety condition arises. In addition, computer vision systems and methods are provided to automatically monitor the drilling site and drilling operations, such as by tallying pipe in the drill string and by monitoring equipment for anomalous drilling conditions, and automatically taking corrective action as may be needed.

Abstract: A leak detection system includes a light source configured to output emitted light into a region of water, and a light detector configured to receive returned light from the region of the water and to output a detector signal indicative of the returned light. The leak detection system also includes at least one controller configured to detect hydrocarbons within the region of the water in response to detecting a hydrocarbon wavelength within the returned light, to determine at least one position of the hydrocarbons within the region of the water based on a time difference between a first time at which the emitted light is output from the light source and a second time at which the returned light at the hydrocarbon wavelength is received at the light detector, and to generate a three-dimensional model of a subsea structure based on the detector signal.

Abstract: Provided is a downhole tool, a well system, and a method for forming a well system. Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method of conducting a coiled tubing operation. In one implementation, a method includes forming a tubing string, the tubing string having an outer surface. The method also includes applying a coating to an application portion of the outer surface of the tubing string. The application portion includes a portion of the tubing string that will be disposed in a horizontal section of a wellbore, and the coating has a surface energy lower than a surface energy of the outer surface of the tubing string to thereby reduce friction between the tubing string and a casing disposed in the horizontal section of the wellbore as the tubing string is lowered into the wellbore.

Abstract: Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.
