    Abstract: A method and apparatus for enhancing an IMS service, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method may include: measuring the transmission quality of service data of an IMS on a first channel between a terminal device and a network side; if detected that the transmission quality on the first channel is lower than a first threshold, then interrupting the sending of the IMS service data; simultaneously transmitting the IMS service data between the terminal device and the network side by means of at least two channels of the MA PDU session, the at least two channels comprising at least one 3GPP channel and at least one non-3GPP channel; and in response to receiving the IMS service data of the network side, performing redundant processing on the received IMS service data.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating resources are disclosed. Resources such as streams are allocated using a stream credit system. Credits are issued to the clients in a manner that ensure the system is operating in a safe allocation state. The credits can be used not only to allocate resources but also to throttle clients where necessary. Credits can be granted fully, partially, and in a number greater than a request.     Abstract: The technology described herein relates to implementing an adaptive bitrate (ABR) algorithm at edge nodes. A method for implementing an ABR algorithm at an edge node may include receiving at the edge node a request for a video segment from a client according to the client's ABR algorithm, the request indicating a quality. A weighted sum score for each of a set of qualities may be computed based on a quality score and a fairness score using the ABR algorithm at the edge node, the qualities including at least the requested quality and another quality. A modified request may be generated in response to the weighted sum score for the other quality being better than the weighted sum score for the requested quality. The modified request may be sent to a server. The video segment in the other quality may be received from the server and provided to a client.
