摘要: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for modeling a fractured medium. The method includes generating, using a processor, a grid for the fractured medium, the fractured medium defining a first fracture and a second fracture, with the first fracture and the second fracture each represented by fracture cells in the grid. The method also includes determining a location where the first and second fractures intersect, the location being at least partially represented by an intersection cell of the fracture cells of the grid. The method further includes redistributing areas of the intersection cell and at least one other fracture cell, such that a size of the intersection cell is increased.

摘要: A method includes identifying a simulated input flow stream associated with a chemical processing facility. The input flow stream includes an input component basis with multiple components having one or more properties that differ. The method also includes converting the input flow stream into a simulated output flow stream, which includes an output component basis that differs from the input component basis and comprises a single, active group of oil components and zero or more pure components. A pure component property of a pure component in the input flow stream could be combined with an oil component property of an oil component in the input flow stream. A pure component property of a pure component in the input flow stream could also be transferred to a pure component in the output flow stream without combination. An oil component property of an oil component in the input flow stream could further be mapped to an oil component property of the single output oil component.

摘要: A method for confirming the association of a query QTL or a query gene in the genome of a second species with a clinical trait T exhibited by the second species. A first QTL or a first gene in a first species that is linked to a trait T′ is found. The trait T′ is indicative of trait T. A region of the genome of the first species that comprises the first QTL or the first gene is mapped to a particular region of the genome of the second species. A query QTL or a query gene in the second species that is potentially associated with the trait T is found. The potential association of the query QTL or the query gene with the clinical trait T is confirmed when the query QTL or the query gene is in the particular region of the genome of the second species.

摘要: A system and method for printing, at a POS of a retail store, information relating to a pharmacy prescription ordered in a pharmacy of said retail store, comprises determining in a PM CS of the pharmacy a payloadID to associate with a prescription order and printing by the PM CS information associated with said first prescription order. Then, a POS CS reading the printing at a POS of the retail store resulting in said POS CS printing a payload associated with the payloadID in the memory of the POS CS.

摘要: A system and associated methods provide healthcare entities with distributed analysis capabilities for records of a patient population. The analysis seeks to find matches between a piece of clinical knowledge introduced to a healthcare entity and data contained in the patient population records. According to one method, a service generates executable code based on the piece of clinical knowledge. Through a communication with the service, the healthcare entity makes a determination as to what extent the clinical knowledge has relevance to a patient population of the healthcare entity. Based on this determination, the healthcare entity downloads at least a portion of the executable code. Then, the records of the patient population may be analyzed by the executable code to register matches of the clinical knowledge with data contained within the records. System activity may then be initiated based on the matches registered.
