摘要: A pouched energy storage device can include a cell housing portion and a sealed portion. The device can also include a stack of electrodes housed within an inner region of the cell housing portion. Each electrode can have dimensions of width, length, and thickness. One or more electrodes can have at least one of the dimensions smaller than a corresponding dimension of other electrodes in the stack of electrodes. The device can also include an indentation on the cell housing portion adjacent the sealed portion. The indentation can form a stepped region in the inner region that is complimentary to the one or more electrodes having at least one of the dimensions smaller than a corresponding dimension of other electrodes in the stack of electrodes. The sealed portion can be folded onto the cell housing portion so that at least a part of the sealed portion resides in the indentation.

Each electronic component includes one or more electrical connection points, such as a bond pad or solder bump. The electronics assembly also includes one or more electrically conductive wire braids, one electrically conductive wire braid coupled to one electrical connection point on an electronic component. The electrically conductive wire braid is stitched to the fabric by an electrically conductive wire, thereby providing an electrical connection between the electronic component and the electrically conductive wire via the electrically conductive wire braid.

摘要: Electrolytes for use in electric double-layer capacitors (EDLCs; often referred as supercapacitors or ultracapacitors) are disclosed. In one example, the electrolyte comprises viologen in both the anolyte and the catholyte (with bromide). In another example, the electrolyte comprises viologen (in the anolyte) and tetraalkylammonium with bromide (in the catholyte), wherein the tetraalkylammonium is used to achieve solid complexation of bromine in the activated carbon of the cathode. In a third example, a zinc bromine/tetraalkylammonium supercapacitor/battery hybrid is disclosed. Also disclosed is a corrosion resistant bipolar pouch cell that can be used with the electrolyte embodiments described herein.

摘要: The present application relates to the field of Li-ion batteries and, specifically, relates to a packaging housing for a Li-ion battery, a method for preparing the packaging housing for a Li-ion battery. A bare cell of the Li-ion battery is packaged by the packaging housing, the packaging housing comprises, successively from inside to outside, a sealing housing layer, a metal coating layer and a plastic coating layer; after the sealing housing layer packages the bare cell and then is sealed, the metal coating layer and the plastic coating layer are successively provided on an external surface of the sealing housing layer. Since each layer of the materials of the packaging housing is processed onto the external surface of the product during preparing or packaging process, the thickness and strength of folding edges and folding corners thereof are kept unchanged, packaging defects caused by the impact molding process are avoided.

The electrode assembly comprises a bare electric roll and an anti-puncture cushion; wherein the bare electric roll comprises at least one electrode unit, the electrode unit comprising a cathode sheet, an anode sheet, and a separator, wherein the cathode sheet is isolated from the anode sheet by the separator; and the anti-puncture cushion is arranged on two sides along a width direction of the bare electric roll, and covers an edge of the anode sheet. A lithium ion electric roll comprises a laminated aluminum film and the electrode assembly, wherein the electrode assembly is wrapped by the laminated aluminum film.
