    摘要: A natural gas liquefaction system is disclosed, which comprises at least a pre-cooling loop, through which a first refrigerant is adapted to circulate. The pre-cooling loop comprises at least one compressor for pressurizing the first refrigerant; at least one prime mover for driving the compressor; at least one condenser for removing heat from the first refrigerant; at least a first expansion element for expanding the first refrigerant; at least a first heat exchanger for transferring heat from natural gas to the first refrigerant. The system further comprises at least a cooling loop, downstream of the pre-cooling loop, where through a second refrigerant circulates. The natural gas is adapted to be sequentially cooled in the pre-cooling loop and in the cooling loop. The compressor of the pre-cooling loop is an integrally-geared turbo-compressor comprising a plurality of compressor stages.

The arrangement includes a gas turbine unit that includes a gas turbine compressor, a steam turbine unit, a first compressor unit, a shiftable clutch, a heated steam generator for supplying steam to the steam turbine unit, and a second compressor unit. The steam turbine unit and the first compressor unit have a common, rigidly connected first shaft assembly, while the gas turbine unit and the second compressor unit have a common, rigidly connected second shaft assembly. In order to increase economic efficiency, the first shaft assembly and the second shaft assembly are operable to be connected to and disconnected from each other using the clutch. A suitable method for starting said arrangement is also provided.

    摘要: A process and system for liquefying a hydrocarbon gas is provided. The hydrocarbon feed gas is pre-treated to remove sour species and water therefrom. The pre-treated feed gas is then passed to a refrigeration zone where it is cooled and expanded to produce a hydrocarbon liquid. A closed loop single mixed refrigerant provides most of the refrigeration to the refrigeration zone together with an auxiliary refrigeration system. The auxiliary refrigeration system and closed loop single mixed refrigerant are coupled in such a manner that waste heat generated by a gas turbine drive of the compressor in the closed loop single mixed refrigerant drives the auxiliary refrigeration system and the auxiliary refrigeration system cools the inlet air of the gas turbine. In this way, substantial improvements are made in the production capacity of the system.
