Abstract: A system and a method of controlling charge of a vehicle battery are provided. In particular, when a voltage of the vehicle battery is different from an output voltage of a commercially available quick charger, a compatibility problem is solved through a converter, thereby allowing an inverter, an electric motor, and a connector to have increased efficiency and to maximize a reduction in size, weight, and material cost thereof.

Abstract: A vehicle may include a first battery to output power of a first voltage, a second battery to output power of a second voltage, a DC-DC converter to convert the first voltage of the first battery into the second voltage, and to supply the power of the second voltage to the second battery. The DC-DC converter may include a transformer to convert the first voltage into the second voltage, a first switch to control first current input to the transformer from the first battery, a current sensor to measure a value of second current output to the second battery from the transformer, and a controller to turn on/off the first switch based on a set turning-on/off frequency. The controller may delay turning-on/off of the first switch based on the measured value of the second current.

Abstract: A cooling device for a transformer, capable of reducing heat generation from windings and a core, is provided. The cooling device for the transformer includes a primary winding and a second winding wound around a center part of the core and separated from each other. A heat-dissipating panel for releasing heat generated from the core, the primary winding, and the secondary winding to the exterior using heat conductance is inserted between the primary winding and the secondary winding. In addition, the heat-dissipating panel is configured to release heat using exposed edges of the primary winding and the secondary winding.

Abstract: A heat dissipation structure of transformer includes a bobbin formed with a hollow shape and wound with a primary coil and a secondary coil. A core surrounds an inside and an outside of the bobbin by combining a pair of upper cores with a pair of lower cores. Abstract: A power conversion system for vehicles is provided. The system includes a switching circuit having first input/output terminals, second input/output terminals and a plurality of switching elements connected between the first input/output terminals and the second input/output terminals. A first energy storage device is connected to the second input/output terminals and has a preset charging/discharging voltage. A first voltage conversion circuit converts power output from the first input/output terminals to output a voltage less than the voltage of the first energy storage device. A second energy storage device is charged/discharged with the output voltage of the first voltage conversion circuit. A controller controls open/short-circuit states of the switching elements based on whether the first energy storage device is being charged and whether the vehicle is traveling. When the first energy storage device is being charged, AC charging power is provided to the first input/output terminals from outside of the vehicle.
