Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotary drum unit in a helical scan type magnetic recording/reproducing device for use with a video tape recorder, digital audio tape recorded, or the like and is intended to permit the stable run of the tape with highly accurate formation of track patterns. In the helical scan type rotary head drum unit of the present invention, a dislocation of the tape upon the drums having no lead is detected by tape position sensors arranged along a guide line and the rotary head is moved in the axial direction of the drum by driving a dynamic tracking actuator in a manner to correct the deviation of the tape from the guide line.
Abstract:
An improvement of a reaction transmitting mechanism for a booster is disclosed. A forward end face of a tubular portion of a valve body which abuts against a reaction disc is provided with an uneven surface. This presents a resistance to an elastic deformation of the reaction disc when a brake booster is actuated. Accordingly, an enhanced hysteresis, which represents a difference in the output between when depressing and releasing a brake pedal, is provided without increasing the hardness of the reaction disc.
Abstract:
A vehicle disk player is disclosed in which a disk is inserted through a disk inserting opening, the disk is fixedly mounted on a turn table by a clamper arm when conveyed to a predetermined position in the player, the turn table is rotated for reproduction of data recorded in the disk, and reproducing means including the clamper arm and turn table are supported in a floating manner. The player is provided with a centering mechanism for positioning said disk at the middle of the disk inserting opening with centering pins. The centering pins are arranged out of the range of vibration of the disk which is fixedly mounted on said turn table supported in a floating manner.
Abstract:
An electric motor running system consists of a photovoltaic array, an inverter for inverting output voltage of the photovoltaic array to AC voltage and automatically controlled so that the frequency is changed in accordance with the output voltage of the photovoltaic array, maintaining the ratio of the voltage to the frequency at a constant value, an induction motor operated by application of the AC voltage from the inverter, and a frequency increasing circuit for increasing the output frequency of the inverter instantaneously so that the motor produces the torque larger than the load starting torque when the motor is started and further decreasing the increased output frequency of the inverter to the normal running frequency after the increased output frequency is maintained for a predetermined period of time. This construction allows the motor to be smoothly started even where a load connected to the motor is a positive displacement pump which has a large static friction torque.

A novel perfluoropolyether containing 0.1 to 10% by weight of halogen atoms as bonded in the molecule is obtained by reacting tetrafluoroethylene with oxygen in a fluorinated solvent or a chlorofluorinated solvent under ultraviolet irradiation in the presence of a halogenated hydrocarbon chain transfer agent having a chain transfer coefficient with respect to methyl methacrylate of at least 5.times.10.sup.-4.
Abstract:
A nonvolatile semiconductor memory device comprises a random access memory (RAM) and an electrically programmable and erasable read only memory (EEPROM). Since a capacitance (106) is formed between a control gate (103) and a drain (102) of a memory transistor, and a source of the memory transistor is rendered to be floating in the RAM write and read operation and in the EEPROM write operation and is supplied with a finite potential in EEPROM read operation, the operation of nonvolatile memory is achieved. A sense amplifier (15, 16) is amplified the potential difference between a bit line (BL) and a control gate line (CGL) is both memory operation and latches the input data in both write operation, such that the potential of the BL and the CGL are determined low or high potential. Besides in the EEPROM write operation, after latching the input data in the sense amplifier, a nonvolatile program is started such that a BL or a CGL is pumped up to program voltage (15-20 V). In the EEPROM read operation, a BL and a CGL are pre-changed in a different potential (BL CGL). After that, the sense amplifier is activated and the EEPROM data is read out.
Abstract:
A developing apparatus is disclosed, in which a developing roller composed of an insulating layer, a dielectric layer and an electrically conductive substrate is made in contact with a photosensitive member to develope a latent image on the member. The dielectric layer is formed of a material whose resistivity-specific dielectricity characteristics satisfies a certain condition which is suitable for medial tone development or binary tone development.
