Abstract: The present invention provides a fiber with a multi-filament structure and a textile fabric, curtain, and screen incorporating such fiber. The multi-filament fiber includes multiple filaments and a blended material. Each filament is a columnar body arranged adjacently or in a spiral adjacent arrangement to form a yarn having an appropriate length. The blended material contains a nano-fluorine water-repellent material and a bonding material provided in gaps between the filaments. Multiple fibers are arranged at intervals horizontally or vertically and knitted in the weft or warp direction to form a meshed textile fabric. The fabric is further coated with an adhesive and a nano-fluorine water-repellent material for use in screens, thereby achieving water repellency and air pollution prevention. Meanwhile, the meshed textile fabric exhibits improved stiffness, elasticity, and transparency, making it suitable for retractable screen fabrics.

The method comprising forming a 3D knitted structure (510) by knitting together at least one heat activated yarn and at least one non-heat activated yarn. The structure may be arranged whereby, during a subsequent heat treatment process (520) in which the cover is heated to a temperature at or above an activation temperature, the heat-activated yarn is activated thereby to form an automotive cover having a knitted structure of increased stiffness once cooled.

Abstract: The invention provides 3D-knitted spacer fabrics of high breathability and moisture management and methods of making the 3D-knitted spacer fabrics. The middle layer of the fabric is made of hydrophilic material, comprising two yarns, a blended thermo-fuse wicking yarn comprising hydrophilic fiber and thermo-fuse fiber, and a non-supportive hydrophilic functional wicking yarn. The top layer of the fabric comprises a hydrophilic yarn, and the third layer of the fabric comprises a hydrophobic yarn. The 3D-knitted spacer fabrics are useful in clothing and equipment for wear in high temperature environments.

Abstract: A method of producing a textile product wherein a functional code pattern is structurally embedded within a textile product as the textile yarns are interlaced to become a textile product is provided. The functional code pattern is embedded within the textile product by programming a textile process machine with conversion factors and mathematical ratios, producing an enlarged code pattern that adheres to the customary rules of public or proprietary barcode formatting. Alternatively, the functional code pattern can be digitally printed onto the textile. The resulting textile product includes a functional and decorative code pattern that is readable by a standard electronic code reading device. Depending upon the type of textile yarn materials used, the code pattern created in or printed on the textile fabric may or may not be visible to the human eye.

Abstract: A double-knit fabric containing a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and a plurality of stuffer yarns. The stuffer yarns are located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. The double-knit fabric contains a plurality of anchored regions and a plurality of detached regions. In the anchored regions, the first and second fabric layers are knitted together and in the detached regions the first and second fabric layers are unattached. The average peak distance between the first and second fabric layers in the detached regions is at least about 3 mm and the double-knit fabric has between about 10 and 30 detached regions per square inch. The anchored regions contain at least two knit stitches in at least one direction and the anchored regions have a width of at least about 1 mm.
