    摘要: A reversible rotary wrench includes an impact mechanism for applying intermittent torque impulses to a load. The mechanism includes a rotatable shaft having an axis and adapted to be coupled to a motive source, a rotatable anvil for coupling to the load and having a pair of anvil ears, a tubular hammer substantially coaxial with the shaft and having a pair of hammer ears engageable with the anvil ears and a rotatable tubular drive coupling member substantially coaxial with the shaft. The mechanism also includes a first helical cam structure coupling the drive coupling member to the shaft, a second helical cam structure coupling the drive coupling member to the hammer, and a spring biasing the hammer axially toward the anvil to engage the hammer ears with the anvil ears. When the shaft is rotated in a first helical direction and torque exerted by the anvil on the hammer exceeds a given threshold, the sleeve rotates and the first cam structure responds to rotation of the shaft to move the hammer axially away from the anvil thereby disengaging the hammer from the anvil. When the shaft is rotated in a second direction and torque exerted by the anvil on the hammer exceeds a given threshold, the second cam structure responds to rotation of the shaft to move the hammer axially away from the anvil thereby disengaging the hammer from the anvil.

    摘要: An impact wrench comprises an anvil having impact jaws, a composite hammer including a driving part coupled to an output shaft of a pneumatic motor and a driven part having impact jaws for co-operating with the impact jaws of the anvil and mounted in the driving part for a combined rotation and a relative axial movement. A diametrical slot is provided in the driving part to receive a slider having its center of gravity offset relative to the hammer axis. The anvil receives a stub shaft mounted for a combined rotation together therewith and a relative axial movement and having a spring-loaded locking member co-operating with the slider. This construction of the pneumatic impact wrench enables a greater amount of kinetic energy to be transmitted into a threaded joint with each blow so as to improve the efficiency and reduce vibrations.

    摘要: The rotary impact mechanism has a plurality of helical springs disposed adjacent to the outer peripheral surface of a rotary inertia member which springs are anchored at one end to the inertia member and at the opposite end to a rotary driving input member so that upon relative rotative movement between the input and inertia members the springs are loaded and thereafter function to rotatively drive the inertia member. The inertia member carries at least one pawl which is capable of engagement and disengagement from a driven, toothed, output member, the pawl impacting against a tooth of the output member to drive the latter when the inertia member is rotatively driven by the springs.

    摘要: A drill housing is pivotally connected to the forward end portion of a boom member that swings upwardly from a frame of a mobile drilling machine. A hydraulic motor is secured to the gear housing and provides rotary power from a drive shaft through a pair of meshing gears to a drill chuck that is arranged to receive a drill bit or a roof bolt. A percussion weight is concentrically positioned within the drill housing and is axially aligned with the drill bit for imparting percussive forces to the drill bit. The percussion control is maintained through a servovalve that is supported on the drill housing and is controlled remotely by an electronic control module. The servovalve controls the flow of pressurized fluid from a source through ports in the drill housing connected to the servovalve by conduits to actuate a piston member for oscillation within the drill housing. Oscillation of the piston imparts a percussive force upon the percussion weight which is transmitted to the drill bit. By reversing the fluid flow between the respective ports of the servovalve the piston is oscillated within the drill housing to provide for variable percussive rates at a variable stroke to permit high speed drilling in solid rock.
