Abstract:
A coating apparatus includes: a nozzle having a nozzle front end configured to spray a coating solution and a head configured to store the coating solution; a movement axis configured to cause the nozzle to move back and forth in a straight line; a rotating connection member configured to connect the movement axis with the nozzle and allow the nozzle to rotate; a stage disposed under the movement axis; and a cleaning means disposed at an end of the movement axis, and having a nozzle front end insertion unit in a concave shape of the nozzle front end and a base fixing the insertion unit, wherein the nozzle is fixed in a normal direction of a surface of the stage by the movement axis, moves back and forth in an extension direction of the movement axis, and rotates with respect to the movement axis.
Abstract:
An adhesive storage tank includes: an accommodation part for accommodating an adhesive; a stirring device disposed in the accommodation part; and a vacuum device for suctioning gas from the accommodation part.
Abstract:
A method for dispensing moisture sensitive materials employs a packaging module comprising an outer carton and an inner flexible enclosure, which is substantially impermeable to moisture and is filled with one part of an adhesive. The enclosed is loaded on a mobile cart and the one part adhesive is supplied to a pump/mixer without exposure to moisture in the atmosphere. The dispensing method can be used in conjunction with mechanized adhesive application equipment for the construction trades.
Abstract:
A battery grid pasting system includes a battery grid pasting machine, a sensing station, and a controller. The battery grid pasting machine includes a conveying apparatus confronting a hopper's dispensing end across a space, and includes a motor actuatable to cause variance of the space and hence variance of the amount of battery paste received on carried battery grids through the space. The sensing station senses a value of a property of a pasted battery grid. And the controller receives the sensed value of the property and controls actuation of the motor based in part or more on the received value.

A dispenser system employs a packaging module for use with moisture sensitive materials. The packaging module comprises an outer carton and an inner bladder, which is substantially impermeable to moisture and is filled with one part of an adhesive. The carton is loaded on a mobile cart and the one part adhesive is supplied to a pump/mixer without exposure to moisture in the atmosphere. The packaging and dispensing system can be used in conjunction with mechanized adhesive application equipment for the construction trades.

Abstract:
A tire protective cover for covering and protecting a static mounted tire from environmental hazards, wherein the environmental hazards include ultra-violet radiation and air-borne contaminants such , corrosive fluids or paint protection from dogs urinating on rims and tires. The tire cover includes a resilient casing for covering both one side of a tire, wherein the resilient casing covering the one side of the tire has a generally circular member having a radially adjacent series of sequentially raised concentric annular surfaces. Lugs are provided for gripping, and structurally reinforcing, the concentrically inner, center portion of the cover.
Abstract:
A hot melt adhesive dispensing apparatus (10) having a hopper (16) and a lid (26) includes an adhesive curing abatement system (12) comprising a plurality of gas jets (40) mounted proximate to the side wall (42) of the hopper (16). The gas jets (40) inject one of either an inert gas or dry air downwardly and inwardly into the hopper (16), thereby reducing the contact of moisture laden ambient air with moisture cure adhesive contained therein. The adhesive curing abatement system (12) may also include an exhaust system (50) to vacuum vapors generated by the moisture cure adhesive and the inert gas or dry air from the hopper (16) when the lid (26) is open and to bleed off any injected inert gas or dry air as well as vapors generated by the moisture cure adhesive when the lid (26) is closed.
Abstract:
A barrier assembly for a Langmuir trough is arranged for a substrate to be carried automatically to-and-fro on a dipping head over a fixed barrier into monomolecular layers A, B on a common subphase so as to stack layers ABABAB . . . on the substrate. The layers A, B are confined by the barrier and two constant perimeter areas formed by a single flexible band passing over rollers. By adjusting the positions of bridges that carry some of the rollers, the confined areas can be contracted to compress the layers A, B. In an alternative mode the substrate receives a layer from layer A while a new layer B is being formed, the substrate then being transferred to layer B while a new layer A is being formed. This involves an oscillating rather than a rotating movement of the substrate.
Abstract:
The glue pot is attached to a glue applicator to supply a continuous flow of hot liquid glue to the applicator rolls of the glue applicator. The glue pot comprises an upright cylindrical glue container with an opening formed in the central portion of its bottom wall, and a water stack extending from said bottom wall opening upwardly through the glue container to form an annular glue reservoir. A water tank is positioned below the bottom wall of the glue container in open communication with the water stack, and water is supplied to the water tank and water stack. Heating means heats the water in the water tank and in the water stack, so that the glue in the glue reservoir is heated from inside out and from bottom up. A pump has its inlet in communication with the lower portion of the glue reservoir and it delivers liquid glue to the glue applicator rolls of the glue applicator, and directs a continuous flow of glue into the upper portion of the annular glue reservoir to continuously stir the glue in the reservoir. A water supply conduit extends through the heated water tank so as to supply hot water for cleaning the pump and glue conduits and for cleaning the glue applicator.
