The system includes a pillbox, a control system that is spaced away from the pillbox, an information transfer system, and a monitoring device. The pillbox includes a lid, a housing base, a camera secured to the pillbox to allow the camera to take pictures for the housing base, and a sound device secured to the housing base. The control system is in communicable connection with the pillbox and the information transfer system. The information transfer system is in communicable connection with the monitoring device. The camera can take pictures or videos and transfer this information to a monitoring device to check compliance. The system configuration and control is moved away from the pillbox and the configuration and control is given to a remote user with a monitoring device.

摘要: A blister pack for dispensing medication comprises a substantially flat backing, blisters formed on the backing, breakable resistive traces, conductive traces, a power source for applying electrical power to the traces, and a controller. The blisters and the backing form cavities for containing the medication, and each blister is coupled with another blister to form pairs of blisters. Resistive traces are applied to the backing under each blister. For each pair of blisters, the resistive traces under a first blister of the pair of blisters is connected in parallel by the conductive traces with the resistive traces under a second blister of the pair of blisters. The controller detects breakage of the resistive traces under the blisters for each pair of blisters by measuring the voltage across the resistive traces under each pair of blisters, and communicate the status to a remote server for instant analysis and reporting to parties of interest.

摘要: A portable compact scaled-down programmable system for authorized dispensing of medicines is illustrated. The system includes at least one enclosure, a dispenser unit having an integrated cap and a plurality of dispensing slots, adapted to facilitate dispense of at least one medicine to an authentic user. The system further includes a driving mechanism for the upward and downward movement of the dispenser unit, a control unit to facilitate controlled functioning of functional units of the system, a primary sensor unit to facilitate the identification and authorization, a power supply unit, a micro-USB, a GNSS module, a set of status indicators having a liquid crystal display, a speaker, a vibrator and a LED, a set of knobs, and a communication facilitator. Further, the system can be operated either in stand-alone mode and or in paired mode. The system is configured to include a plurality of internet of things [IoT] modules.

The medicine container comprises a control unit, a memory, a communication interface unit, a pill-supply housing configured to store a bulk supply of pills, a pill-supply locking means configured to lock access to the pill-supply housing, a dispensing assembly configured to dispense pills from among the bulk supply of pills, and a dispensed-pill housing configured to receive and store dispensed pills, a dispensed-pill locking means configured to lock access to the dispensed-pill housing. The control unit is programmed to irreversibly cause the pill-supply locking means to lock access to the pill-supply housing and irreversibly cause the dispensed-pill locking means to lock access to the dispensed-pill housing when receiving information indicating that the bulk supply of pills should permanently discontinue to be taken by a patient.
