Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for channel sounding for wireless communications. Some implementations more specifically relate to scheduling sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets for wireless devices having more than 4 receive (RX) antenna ports. In some implementations, a base station may determine an antenna switching capability of a user equipment (UE). The antenna switching capability indicates a number of RX antenna ports of the UE. The base station schedules a number of SRS resource sets for the UE based at least in part on the number of RX antenna ports in excess of four. For example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 8. As another example, the number of RX antenna ports may be equal to 6. The base station further receives, from the UE, uplink transmissions of one or more SRS resources for each of the scheduled SRS resource sets.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more uplink reference signals for tracking and a base station or transmission-reception point (TRP) may estimate one or more frequency or time shifts (e.g., a Doppler shift, time shift, or both) associated with communications with the UE. The estimated frequency shifts, time shifts, or combinations thereof, may be used to provide compensated communications (e.g., Doppler compensated communications) with the UE. The uplink reference signal for tracking may be a sounding reference signal that is configured as a tracking reference signal.

The UE may receive, from the base station and based at least in part on the RRC configuration, DCI that is associated with at least one of: the aperiodic SRS triggering without data scheduling or the SCell dormancy indication. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The UE receives first signaling triggering the UE to transmit a base channel state information (CSI) report to a network entity. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to transmission of a single CSI report that includes time domain channel information obtained from a plurality of CSI-RSs received by a UE over time. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a device such as a user equipment (UE), a base station, or both, to perform a channel noise and interference estimation based on a set of null resources in a data channel. The device may identify a first configuration for a set of demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) in a first set of time periods of a data channel and a second configuration for a set of null resources in a second set of time periods of the data channel. The second set of time periods may be nonoverlapping with the first set of time periods. The device may perform a channel estimation procedure on the data channel based on the null resources and the DMRS resources. The device may process data received via resources of the data channel based on the channel estimation procedure.
