    Abstract: Method and apparatus for SCI source and destination pruning. The apparatus generates CRC bits corresponding to a payload. The apparatus combines the CRC bits with source information and destination information associated with transmission of the payload to generate a modified CRC. The apparatus transmits, to a second UE, the modified CRC and the payload. The modified CRC may be generated based on an XOR operation between the CRC bits corresponding to the payload and the source information and the destination information. The apparatus may map to a payload one or more bits that correspond to source information and destination information associated with transmission of the payload. The apparatus may transmit, to a second UE, the payload comprising the one or more bits that correspond to the source information and the destination information mapped to the payload.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for fast beam selection via user equipment (UE) receive (Rx) beam selection reporting are described. A UE may transmit a beam selection report conveying a selected Rx beam, position, and orientation to a network entity. The network entity may build a database with the conveyed information. The network entity may “tag” each position for which a UE has transmitted a beam selection report and, if another UE gets close to a “tagged” position, the network entity may indicate the associated position, orientation, selected Rx beam, and a corresponding transmit (Tx) beam to that UE. The UE may use the information to select Tx and Rx beam search windows and window centers. Compared to other methods, the process described herein may result in a smaller search window, decreased complexity of the beam selection process, decreased power consumption, decreased latency, and more accurate tracking of UE dynamics.

    Abstract: Aspects directed towards receiving at a sidelink node from and communicating to peer sidelink nodes an indication on whether the CDD antenna diversity scheme is used in a data transmission are disclosed. Also disclosed is the receiving sidelink node optimizing its operation based on the knowledge of whether the CDD antenna diversity scheme is used in the data transmission and thus the performance at the receiving sidelink node is improved. Also disclosed are aspects directed to a peer sidelink node determining whether to use the CDD antenna diversity scheme based on a variety of factor and conveying the determination to the receiving sidelink node.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may increase a transmission power for a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) communication based at least in part on decreasing a transmission power for a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) communication. The UE may transmit the PSCCH communication using the decreased transmission power for the PSCCH communication and transmit the PSSCH communication using the increased transmission power for the PSSCH communication.
