Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication within a network. The UE receives, from a radio access network (RAN) entity, one of an uplink indication or an uplink port identification associated with an uplink port. The uplink indication and the uplink port identification are associated with an uplink message. The UE also maps one of the uplink indication to a sidelink indication associated with a sidelink message or the uplink port identification to a sidelink port identification associated with a sidelink port and the sidelink message. The UE further superposition codes the uplink message and the sidelink message into a broadcast transmission based on one of (A) the uplink indication and the sidelink indication, or (B) the uplink port and the sidelink port. In addition, the UE transmits, to the RAN entity, the broadcast transmission.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to sidelink communications in a TDD system are provided. A first user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a time-division-duplexing (TDD) configuration. The first UE may select a first TDD configuration from a set of configured TDD configurations based on the TDD configuration. Additionally, the first UE may transmit to a second UE, an indication of the first TDD configuration. The first and the second UEs may communicate a sidelink communication based on the first TDD configuration. Other features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications between a first UE and a second UE. The method includes, at the first UE, receiving, from the second UE, a paging indication message on a sidelink channel, the paging indication message associating the first UE with one or more resources of a common resource pool that includes a plurality of resources for communication on the sidelink channel. The method further includes, based on the received paging indication message, monitoring the one or more resources for a message from the second UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a first user equipment (UE) may communicate with one or more other UEs in accordance with a distributed resource allocation mode. To select suitable resources for an intended sidelink transmission, the first UE may transmit, to a second UE, a request for a type of coordination information based on information associated with the intended sidelink transmission from the first UE. The second UE may generate coordination information in accordance with the requested type and may transmit the coordination information to the first UE. The first UE may use the coordination information to select a set of resources over which to perform the intended sidelink transmission from the first UE and may perform the intended sidelink transmission over the selected set of resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques relate to the categorization of resources in a system to enable a user equipment (UE) to determine whether resources may be reclaimed. At least two categories may be defined for the resources, and the UE may use various criteria for categorizing the resources in a system. For example, the UE may include a first set of resources in an “available” category and a second set of resources in an “occupied” category. Resources in the “occupied” category may be indicated as occupied by another UE's sidelink channel information. In cases where resources are indicated as reserved for retransmission by another UE, but no feedback is detected, then the UE may use additional parameters to determine whether those resources may be reclaimed for its own transmission and may categorize the resources accordingly.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a two-stage interleaving pattern may be provided for communication of coded information via a channel. The channel may have a channel bandwidth within a bandwidth part (BWP) of a total frequency bandwidth, and the two-stage interleaving pattern may provide a first interleaving pattern of resource blocks within an allocated set of user equipment (UE) resources and a second interleaving pattern of resource blocks within the BWP. The two-stage interleaving pattern may be based on the first interleaving pattern being initially applied to resource blocks within the allocated set of UE resources, and the second interleaving pattern being subsequently applied to resource blocks within the BWP. Signaling to indicate a type of interleaving to be applied to a communication may be provided in semi-static signaling, dynamic signaling, or combinations thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive scheduling information that schedules an uplink data message over a high priority physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) that overlaps in time with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource over which the UE is scheduled to transmit feedback associated with sidelink communication. The UE may receive signaling from a base station indicating whether the feedback associated with the sidelink communication can be multiplexed with the uplink data message on the high priority PUSCH. As such, the UE may multiplex the feedback associated with the sidelink communication on the high priority PUSCH if the signaling from the base station indicates that the feedback associated with the sidelink communication can be multiplexed with the uplink data message on the high priority PUSCH.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may generate a wake up signal to wake up a plurality of second UEs. The wake up signal may be based at least in part on location information associated with the UE, location information associated with one or more of the plurality of second UEs, or a combination thereof. The UE may further transmit, to the plurality of second UEs, the wake up signal. Accordingly, the plurality of second UEs may receive the wake up signal and monitor for messages from the second UE based at least in part on receiving the wake up signal. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may interrupt a user equipment (UE) during transport block (TB) encoding. The UE may cancel transmission (e.g., suppress processing) of a TB based on the interruption, such that a first subset of code blocks is encoded and a second subset is unencoded. In some cases, the UE may receive a re-transmission request for a code block including cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits for the TB, where the CRC bits are not prepared. In one example, the UE may modify the CRC bits (e.g., set them to a common value, drop them, etc.) to reduce processing time. In another example, the base station may request re-transmission of all preempted code blocks, supporting TB CRC calculation. In another example, the base station or UE may extend a processing timeline for the re-transmission to support TB CRC calculation.
