    Abstract: In a wiring device which detects a leakage current in an electrical path connecting a commercial power supply and a load to interrupt the electrical path, the electrical leakage can reliably be interrupted even when the leakage current has a distorted waveform. A wiring device (1) includes a leakage control unit (4) for detecting a leakage current flowing through an electrical path connecting a commercial power supply and a load (30) to perform a leakage determination and a switching unit (2) for interrupting the electrical path in accordance with the leakage determination of the leakage control unit (4). The leakage control unit (4) has a filter (42) for filtering the detected leakage current and having a frequency characteristic which the human body has with respect to an electrical shock, a square operation unit (43) for calculating the square operation value of a signal which relates to the leakage current passing through the filter (42), and a threshold determination unit (46) for performing the leakage determination in accordance with the square operation value obtained by the square operation unit (43). Consequently, the leakage determination is performed in accordance with the square operation value, so that the leakage can be detected with high accuracy even when the leakage current has a distorted waveform, and the electrical leakage can be reliably interrupted.

    Abstract: A disc reproducing apparatus having a disc exchange function includes a housing section, a reproducing unit, a movement unit and a pull-out unit. The housing section holds plural optical discs and is detachably mounted on a main body portion of the apparatus. The housing section includes plural trays on which to set optical discs. These trays are mounted for movement between a pull-out position out of the housing section and a housed position in the housing section. The reproducing unit reproduces an optical disc. The movement unit moves one of the housing section and the recording and/or reproducing unit relative to the other. The movement unit moves the housing section and the recording and/or reproducing unit relative to the arraying direction of plural trays housed in the housing section. The movement mechanism includes a positioning mechanism for positioning the recording and/or reproducing unit relative to a sole tray housed in the housing section. The pull-out unit pulls out one of the plural trays housed in the housing section from the housing section towards the recording and/or reproducing unit.

    Abstract: A sealed switch has a vessel defining therein a hermetically sealed space which receives a pair of fixed contacts and a movable contact bridging the fixed contact. The movable contact is movable between an ON-position of closing with the fixed contact and an OFF-position of separating from the fixed contacts. Hydrogen gas or hydrogen rich gas is filled in the sealed space in order to suppress arc development between the movable and fixed contacts. The plunger carries at its axial one end the movable contact and carrying at the other axial end an actuator which moves the plunger axially for movement of the movable contact from the OFF-position to the ON-position. An over-travel spring is provided to give a bias for moving the movable contact relative to the plunger in order to develop a contacting pressure between the movable and fixed contacts. The over-travel spring is supported to a spring holder secured to the plunger. The plunger is formed with a threaded portion which extends through the actuator to allow the plunger to move axially relative to the actuator for adjustment of a contact gap between the movable and fixed contact, and the spring holder is formed with stopper protrusions which project in abuttable and slidable relation to the interior surface of the vessel such that the movable contact is prevented from rotating together with the plunger. Accordingly, the spring holder is best utilized to restrict the movable contact from rotating together with the actuator to enable an easy adjustment of the contact gap simply by rotating the actuator.

    Abstract: The invention provides a light-sensitive lithographic printing plate containing a light-sensitive composition which has a different degree of solubility in an exposed area of said printing plate than in an unexposed area of said printing plate when said printing plate is developed in a developing solution. This printing plate is produced by a process which comprises coating on a support a solution prepared by dissolving a light-sensitive composition containing a light-sensitive material and at least one fluorinated surfactant having Formula (I) in a quantity of between 0.005% by weight and 0.05% by weight based on the weight of said composition, in at least one solvent having (A) a solubility parameter of at least 8(cal/cm.sup.3)1/2, and (B) a boiling point within the range of from 100.degree. to 200.degree. C. Said Formula (I) is Rf-A-Y, wherein Rf is a partially or completely fluorinated hydrophobic alkyl moiety, A is a single bind or bivalent moiety and Y is a hydrophilic moiety.
