摘要： An electromagnetic relay has a movable touch piece, a movable contact provided on the movable touch piece, and a fixed contact opposed to the movable contact. The movable touch piece is rotated by a movable iron piece that rotates based on magnetization and demagnetization of an electromagnet block, to make the movable contact come into contact with and separate from the fixed contact. Operation characteristics are made adjustable by a press-fitting amount at the time of press-fitting a fixed contact terminal provided with the fixed contact into a spool of the electromagnet block along a moving direction of the movable contact.

摘要： A mechanical limiter switch for use in a medical or surgical device has a substantially cylindrically shaped housing with a perimeter and an opening in an axial direction. The housing has a pattern along the perimeter. A spring is mounted in the opening along the axial direction, and is pre-stressed for movement in a radial direction and pre-stressed for movement in the axial direction. The spring has a radial member protruding through the pattern of the housing. A plunger is mounted in the opening along the axial direction, abutting the spring for urging the spring in the axial direction and for moving the member in the pattern along the perimeter. After a pre-determined number of activations of the plunger in the axial direction, the member will come to a terminating position and will either contact a pin to establish electrical continuity or at the terminating position break electrical continuity.

摘要： A push-button switch includes a base, a cover and a button subassembly. The button subassembly attaches to the underside of and extends through an opening of the cover. The cover includes tabs that extend from each side with a locking element further extending from an inner surface of each tab that engages slots in the base to hold the base and cover together. The switch can include different length fixed contacts and rivets in place of contact pads. The contacts can include the fixed contacts extending in parallel horizontal planes and the same or spaced transverse planes. The switch can also employ a pivot arm and an adjustable member to control the gap between the fixed contacts and moveable contacts.

摘要： A contact carrying portion of a plunger assembly is adjusted linearly in the direction of switch operating movement by a rotatable cam in the plunger assembly to change an initial gap dimension between stationary and movable contacts. The cam is rotatable about an axis parallel to the direction of switch operating movement and comprises a plurality of angularly spaced diametrically oriented grooves, each of a different depth, in an end surface cooperating with a diametrically disposed rib on the contact carrying portion to vary the axial length of the plunger assembly and provide a detent for the cam adjustment. A housing is provided with a window through a lateral wall for accessing slots in the cam to rotate the cam. The pushbutton switch is resiliently disposed in a supplementary housing to accommodate significant overtravel of a switch operating element.

摘要： A switch assembly for use with a centrifugal actuator in the start winding circuit of a dynamoelectric machine (1). The switch has a pair of electrical contacts (29, 33) contained in a pliable, bellows-like enclosure (37) for protection from foreign matter. The assembly includes a terminal board (19) having an electrically conductive post (28) mounted thereon and comprising one side of the switch. A second contact, comprising the other side of the switch, is directly above the first and is surrounded by an electrically conductive cap (32). The cap is affixed between the ends of an electrically conductive, cantilevered switch arm (16) which is biased against a vertically rigid, horizontally adjustable stop (45). The stop has one end rigidly mounted to the terminal board and its other end above and in contact with the switch arm where the cap is affixed to the arm. The bias is caused by the switch arm support structure at the fixed end being attached to the terminal board at an angle. Moving the end of the stop contacting the arm toward the support structure, decreases the gap between the switch contacts, while moving the end of the stop towards the free end of the switch arm increases the gap.
