    Abstract: A switch may include a movable board and a pole board having an inner surface on which a fixed contact point is exposed, the inner surface facing the movable board. A movable contact point may be supported by the movable board and may include a plurality of contact pieces making resilient contact with the inner surface of the pole board. The switch may also include an output terminal corresponding to the fixed contact point. The movable contact point and the fixed contact point may come in contact with each other when a position of the movable contact point is changed via a displacement of the movable board. The fixed contact point and the output terminal may be connected via a board having a disconnection detection circuit. The board may be enclosed in an insulating seal material.

    Abstract: A surface mount snap switch and method of making the same, including a housing having a plurality of channels formed therein and a cover configured for snap-fit engagement with the housing. The snap switch also includes an actuator slidably disposed at least partially within the housing, a first terminal having an external surface mount portion and another portion press-fittingly held within one of the plurality of channels of the housing, and a second terminal having an external surface mount portion and another portion press-fittingly held within another one of the plurality of channels of the housing. The snap switch further includes a blade contact having a first end portion pivotally associated with the first terminal and a second end portion comprising a blade contact button, and the actuator is configured to interact with the blade contact to electrically couple the first terminal and the second terminal.

    Abstract: A reed switch relay comprises a PCB base (1) and a control assembly (2) electrically connected to the PCB base. The control assembly is mounted on the PCB base by a surface mount technology.
