    Abstract: A computer implemented method comprising receiving, for each of a plurality of wireless routers, location, connection time, wireless band and wireless channel information, calculating, for each of the plurality of wireless routers, a congestion quotient from the received location, connection time, wireless band and wireless channel information, the congestion quotient defining the likelihood of destructive interference at the respective wireless router, identifying a wireless router with a congestion quotient greater than a predetermined threshold, determining changes in wireless band and/or wireless channel for the identified wireless router that would lower the congestion quotient for the identified wireless router, and transmitting the determined changes to the identified wireless router.

    Abstract: A tool for targeting a message response. The tool monitors reactions of a user to message subject lines, message content, and social networks. The tool analyzes user interest data and calculates a user interest rating per keyword. Rated keywords are stored in association with the user. When a user drafts a message addressed to a recipient, the tool compares rated keywords within the recipient's log with the subject line and message content. The tool suggests an alternative subject line likely to elicit a faster and more detailed response from the recipient.

    Abstract: For activity-based risk assessment of open Wi-Fi networks, an activity occurring at a consumer application is analyzed to determine that a connection with a first open Wi-Fi network is to be used in conjunction with the activity. From an entry representing the activity in a risk profile, a risk level of the activity is selected. Whether an overall risk value of the first network exceeds the risk level of the activity is determined. When the overall risk value of the first network exceeds the risk level of the activity, the connection with the first network is terminated. A second open Wi-Fi network with a second overall risk value that does not exceed the risk level of the activity is selected. A second connection with the second network is established. The activity is allowed to proceed using the second connection with the second network.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for Web site reachability management in content browsing. A method of the invention includes monitoring different requests for different resources at respectively different resource location addresses initiating from different content browsers of different end users. Different responses to ones of the different requests that include an error code indicating an inability to provide a requested one of the different resources are detected and ones of the resource location addresses associated with corresponding ones of the different responses that include the error code are stored in a list. Finally, the each of resource location addresses are polled to determine whether or not a corresponding one of the resources is able to be retrieved. In response to determining that a resource of a resource location address in the list has become retrievable, the address is removed from the list and an associated end user notified.
