    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to provide priority traffic grant-less access to pre-defined communication resources that are semi-persistently scheduled. A set of semi-persistent communication resources may be reserved for use by priority traffic. If the semi-persistent resources are not used for priority traffic, the semi-persistent resources may be scheduled for use by other types of traffic. As priority traffic is identified, the priority traffic may be transmitted using the semi-persistent resource without having those communication resources granted by a scheduling entity. Such grant-less access to the semi-persistent resources may result in collisions between the scheduled traffic and the priority traffic. To mitigate interference between different traffic types, the scheduled traffic may be transmitted using a transmission power that ensures an interference parameter indicative of an amount of interference imposed by the scheduled traffic on the priority traffic satisfies an interference threshold.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide beam determination in beamformed wireless communications. A base station may transmit multiple repetitions of control information for a subsequent scheduled transmission. A user equipment (UE) may receive one of the multiple repetitions, determine the control information, and adjust beamforming parameters for the scheduled transmission. The UE may have a scheduling threshold that corresponds to a time needed for the UE to adjust beamforming parameters for the scheduled transmission, and the UE may identify the beamforming parameters for the scheduled transmission from any one of the multiple repetitions of control information, which may be transmitted using different downlink transmission beams, before or after the scheduling threshold, or combinations thereof.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to communicating control information via interleaved symbols. For example, symbols of a first handshaking process may be interleaved with symbols of a second handshaking process. In some scenarios, the control information includes request-to-send (RTS) and clear-to-send (CTS) signaling. In some aspects, different tone spacing is used for the control information than is used for data within a subframe. In some aspects, a different cyclic prefix length is used for control information than is used for data within a subframe.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to mitigation of calibration errors are provided. A base station (BS) transmits, via an antenna array including a plurality of antenna elements, a first communication signal using a first number of the plurality of antenna elements and a first transmission power level to a user equipment (UE). The BS receives from at least one UE, a measurement report based on the first communication signal. The BS transmitting a second communication signal using a second number of the plurality of antenna elements and a second transmission power level based on the one or more measurement reports. At least one of the first number of the plurality of antenna elements is different from the second number of the plurality of antenna elements, or the first transmission power level is different from the second transmission power level.     Abstract: Method and apparatus are provided for reporting and receiving actual UL transmission power. In accordance with some implementation, a UE may send a first indication of power headroom to a base station. The UE may receive one or more resources allocation for a UL transmission. The UE then may determine actual transmission power to be used in the UL transmission. Upon determination, the UE may transmit the UL transmission and send an indication of the actual transmission power to the base station. The base station, in response to receiving an indication of actual transmission power of the first UL transmission, may adjust an estimate of the link quality based on the receive indication of actual transmission power.
