Abstract: A cross-carrier scheduling scheme is provided. The cross-carrier scheduling scheme may improve the resource scheduling, for example, in V2X communication. The apparatus (e.g., a UE) receives a resource grant on a first carrier for a second carrier, the resource grant assigning resources for the second carrier. The apparatus communicates with a second UE via the second carrier using the granted resources. The apparatus may apply the resource grant based on at least one offset, such as an offset between the timing of the first carrier and timing of the second carrier.

Abstract: Low latency enhancements for communication systems, including autonomous driving and/or selection scenarios, are provided. A method for communication includes monitoring communication resources in a communication system, determining a set of candidate resources to use for subsequent transmission of information within a time window such that the time window is minimized based on a desired communication latency parameter that considers at least one or more of communication channel congestion and a priority of transmission, determining a set of lowest energy resources from the set of candidate resources, selecting a low energy resource from the set of lowest energy resources, and transmitting data on the selected low energy resource. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. One method for wireless communication at a first device includes receiving a multicast packet from a second device, decoding control header information in the received multicast packet, determining that a decoding procedure associated with a payload of the received multicast packet is unsuccessful and transmitting a negative acknowledgement (NACK) based at least in part on the determining. The method also includes retrieving a list of transmitter identifiers. In some cases, transmitting the NACK is based at least in part on the list of transmitter identifiers. The method further includes determining a transmitter identifier associated with the multicast packet and determining that the transmitter identifier is present in the list of transmitter identifiers.

Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to sharing vehicle sensor information. In some aspects, a requestor (e.g., a first vehicle) may transmit a request for vehicle sensor information. A responder (e.g., a second vehicle) may then respond with information sensed by the responder. For example, a requestor may unicast a vehicle-to-anything (V2X) message that requests a particular responder to share specified sensor information. As another example, a requestor may broadcast a vehicle-to-anything (V2X) message that requests any responder that meets a response criterion (or response criteria) to share specified sensor information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication over one or more determined transmission time intervals (TTIs) in an unlicensed (shared) radio frequency spectrum band. A user equipment (UE) such as a vehicle may perform one or more listen-before-talk (LBT) mechanisms on the shared radio frequency spectrum and contend for access to available system resources. Upon gaining access, the UE may determine a data payload for transmission. The data type or payload may exceed a threshold and as a result, the UE may bundle a multiple TTIs for continuous data transmission. The UE may send control information, indicating a TTI bundling implementation as well as modification to the control or LBT symbols of subsequent TTIs of the data transmission, and subsequently perform data transmission over a plurality of TTIs.

A transmitting device may select an orthogonal metric based at least in part on at least one of each direction of a plurality of directions to transmit millimeter wave discovery signals or a location parameter associated with the transmitting device. The transmitting device may transmit, in the each direction of the plurality of directions, the millimeter wave discovery signals, where the each transmitted millimeter wave discovery signal has a different orthogonal metric applied that was selected based at least in part on the at least one of the each direction or the location parameter.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A method for wireless communication at a first base station (e.g., corresponding to, associated with, or included in a first cell) includes receiving location information from a vehicle; identifying, based at least in part on the location information, a plurality of cells from which to broadcast a location message associated with the vehicle, where the plurality of cells include at least a cell of a second base station; and communicating with at least the second base station regarding a broadcast of the location message. A method for wireless communication at a vehicle include transmitting location information from the vehicle to a base station on an access stratum (AS) layer, and transmitting location message information to the base station. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: The disclosure relates in some aspects to sharing wireless communication resources. For example, a first type of device allocated to use a first resource pool may dynamically use a second resource pool allocated for a second type of device. The first type of device may use an entry criteria to determine whether to use the second resource pool. In some aspects, the entry criteria may specify that resource sharing is permitted if a ratio of resources used by devices of the second type (relative to the total resources in the second resource pool) is less than a threshold. In addition, the first type of device may use an exit criteria to determine whether to stop using the second resource pool. In some aspects, the exit criteria may specify that resource sharing should stop if a ratio of resources used by devices of the second type is greater than a threshold.
