Abstract: A system for producing synthetic fuel comprises a reactor having a first reaction zone for implementing a first reaction in which carbon dioxide and hydrogen react to produce carbon monoxide and water, and at least one other reaction zone for implementing a second reaction in which carbon monoxide and hydrogen react to produce a fuel precursor, and a third reaction involving synthesizing fuel from said fuel precursor. The reaction zones are inter-connected in series by a fluid circuit is configured to circulate and recirculate fluid around the reactor to facilitate recycling of reactants and heat energy. The system facilitates low-energy. cost-efficient production of liquid e-fuels.

Abstract: Disclosed herein too is a method comprising charging to a reactor system a feed stream comprising a catalyst, a monomer and a solvent; reacting the monomer to form a polymer; where the polymer is contained in a single phase polymer solution; transporting the polymer solution to a pre-heater to increase the temperature of the polymer solution; charging the polymer solution to a liquid-liquid separator; reducing a pressure of the polymer solution in the liquid-liquid separator and separating a polymer-rich phase from a solvent-rich phase in the liquid-liquid separator; transporting the polymer-rich phase to a plurality of devolatilization vessels located downstream of the liquid-liquid separator, where each devolatilization vessel operates at a lower pressure than the preceding devolatilization vessel; and separating the polymer from volatiles present in the polymer rich phase.

Abstract: One aspect of the invention relates to a method comprising a single-stage conversion of an atmospheric pollutant, such as NO, NO2 and/or SOx in a first stream to one or more mineral acids and/or salts thereof by reacting with nonionic gas phase chlorine dioxide (ClO20 ), wherein the reaction is carried out in the gas phase. Another aspect of the invention relates to a method comprising first adjusting the atmospheric pollutant concentrations in a first stream to a molar ratio of about 1:1, and then reacting with an aqueous metal hydroxide solution (MOH). Another aspect of the invention relates to an apparatus that can be used to carry out the methods disclosed herein. The methods disclosed herein are unexpectedly efficient and cost effective, and can be applied to a stream comprising high concentration and large volume of atmospheric pollutants.

Abstract: A system for chemical transformation of 3D state materials is disclosed wherein, a reaction group having a main body arranged to shape a reaction chamber in which a component configured to support a sample of 3D state arranged to be chemically transform is expected. The system further includes an oven arranged to heat the reaction chamber and a GAS supply group arranged to release a first gas in the reaction chamber and/or a casing component, inside the main body, which has a chemical agent suitable for releasing a second gas into the reaction chamber. The main body has at least two turbines arranged to converge into the reaction chamber, the first and/or the second gas on the samples. The invention relates also to a method for chemical transformation of 3D state materials.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to plants and processes for forming polymers. In some embodiments, a process of forming a polymer includes supplying a. feed having one or more olefin monomers and a solvent. The process includes introducing the feed with a catalyst to form a reaction mixture in a reactor. The process includes moving a. reactor effluent from the reactor and comingling, in a mixer or in a line, the reactor effluent with a first concentrated polymer solution to form a mixture. The process includes introducing the mixture to a heat exchanger to form a heated mixture and introducing the heated mixture to a pressure let down valve followed by introducing the heated mixture to a phase separator. The process includes removing a second concentrated polymer solution from the phase separator. The process includes introducing the second concentrated, polymer solution to the mixer or the line.
