    摘要: A wheel loader includes a vehicle body frame, an engine, a working unit a fuel tank and a cooling device. The fuel tank is attached to a bottom surface of a rear part of the vehicle body frame, and has a rear end surface slanted obliquely rearwards from up to down. The cooling device is configured to release heat of a coolant flowing through an inside thereof. The cooling device is supported by the rear part of the vehicle body frame. A bottom end portion of the cooling device is opposed to and separated away from a rear end surface of the fuel tank at a predetermined distance in a back-and-forth direction. A bottom surface of the cooling device is positioned lower than a top surface of a rear end portion of the fuel tank.

    摘要: A hydraulic lift arm assembly includes a lift arm, a lift cylinder raising and lowering the lift arm, a lift arm stop, and a stowing mechanism. The stowing mechanism automatically retains the lift arm stop in a stowed position in response to the lift arm stop moving into the stowed position. The lift arm stop is movable into a locked position in which the stop resists substantial actuation of the lift cylinder from an extended condition, and thereby resists substantial lowering of the lift arm from a raised position. The lift arm stop may include a slot and pin arrangement to permit linear and pivotal movement of the stop with respect to the lift arm. The linear movement may provide clearance for a tongue on the stop to pivot past a portion of the lift cylinder as the stop is moved into the locked position.

    摘要: A sprocket is disclosed for driving a chain with a plurality of chain rollers. The sprocket may be used to drive a material removal chain of a trencher. The sprocket has various cut-aways or reliefs on each face thereof to more effectively clear particulate debris from beneath chain rollers during cutting or digging operations. The sprocket also has asymmetrical teeth designed to help minimize changes in pitch diameter due to debris entrained beneath chain rollers. Reducing changes in pitch diameter greatly reduces premature wear of the sprocket and its chain. Reducing changes in pitch diameter also greatly reduces the tendency for the chain to bind.

    摘要: In many types of construction machines, the frame assembly comprises a rear frame that supports the engine and the majority of the drive train components and a front frame that supports the work implement and related structure. In this type of machine, the two frames are normally pinned together and the front frame is articulated with respect to the rear frame by a pair of steering cylinders to provide steering for the machine. In order to provide the required structural support for the components of the work implement and to accommodate the steering forces, the front frame is necessarily quite large. The present invention provides a front frame (12) structure that includes a pair of main side plates (62, 64) that are positioned a preselected distance (W) from one another and mount a lift arm assembly (30) therebetween to minimize the overall width of the frame assembly. The forward end portion of the front frame assembly (12) has a preselected height (H) that permits the front frame to have a low profile. These features provide a frame assembly that allows an operator exceptional visibility to the work implement (42).
