    摘要: A phosphor film high in efficiency and less in luminescence irregularity and a method of producing the phosphor film are provided. The phosphor film includes a zinc sulfide compound containing an additive element(s). The additive element is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ag, Cu and Au; the concentration of the additive element is 0.2 mol % or more and 5 mol % or less with respect to Zn; and the film thickness of the phosphor film is 10 nm or more and 2 um or less.

    摘要: To provide a DC drive type inorganic light emitting device excellent in luminous efficiency, provided is a light emitting device, including: a substrate; and a first layer and a second layer laminated on the substrate, in which the second layer is formed of a first portion containing Zn and at least one element chosen from S and Se as its constituent elements; and a second portion containing at least one element chosen from Cu and Ag and at least one element chosen from S and Se as its constituent elements; the first layer is made of a light emitting layer formed of at least one element chosen from S and Se and of Zn; and, in the second layer, the second portion has a cross section parallel to the substrate which tapers toward the first layer.

    摘要: The invention has for its object to provide an EL phosphor multilayer thin film and EL device which can emit light with improved luminance. This object is achieved by the provision of an EL phosphor multilayer thin film wherein a phosphor thin film and a dielectric thin film are stacked one upon another. The phosphor thin film comprises a matrix material containing as a main component at least one compound selected from an alkaline earth thioaluminate, an alkaline earth thiogallate and an alkaline earth thioindate, and an rare earth element as a luminescent center, and the dielectric thin film comprises an alkaline earth oxide. There is also provided an EL device comprising such an EL phosphor multilayer thin film.

    摘要: The invention aims to provide a phosphor thin film eliminating a need for filters, having a satisfactory color purity, suited for RGB in full-color EL displays, enabling to simplify the manufacture process of full-color EL panels, and offering the advantages of minimized variation of luminance, increased yields, and reduced manufacture cost, a method for preparing the same and an EL panel. Such objects are achieved by a phosphor thin film formed of a matrix material comprising an oxysulfide consisting of at least one compound selected from alkaline earth thiogallates and alkaline earth thioindates, in which oxygen is incorporated, the matrix material further containing an element serving as a luminescent center, a method for preparing the same, and an EL panel using the same.
