Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method for managing SOR information by UE in an automatic network selection mode in a wireless communication network. The method includes receiving the SOR information from one of a first VPLMN and a HPLMN and determining whether a SOR information security check is successful and the UE is camped on one of the first VPLMN and the HPLMN and performing one of: continuing to receive services from the HPLMN on determining that the UE is camped on the HPLMN irrespective of the SOR information security check, continuing to receive services from the first VPLMN on determining that the UE is camped on the first VPLMN and that the SOR information security check is successful, and automatically triggering a registration to a second VPLMN available on determining that the UE is camped on the first VPLMN and that the SOR information security check is unsuccessful.

Abstract: Embodiments of the inventive concept herein provide a method and User Equipment (UE) for handling PLMN selection involving Proximity Based Services (ProSe) communication. The method includes detecting one of a PLMN selection due to the ProSe communication followed by a manual Closed Subscriber Group (CSG) cell selection, and a manual CSG cell selection followed by the PLMN selection due to the ProSe communication, when the UE has stored a duplicate value of a Registered PLMN (RPLMN) and a duplicate of a PLMN selection mode. Further, the method includes preserving the stored duplicate value of the RPLMN and a stored duplicate of the PLMN selection mode.

Further, the method includes performing one of: aborting the deregistration procedure initiated by the wireless communication network and proceeding with the registration procedure initiated by the UE (100) on determining that the cause value is one of the specific cause value for the deregistration procedure; and aborting the registration procedure initiated by the UE (100) and proceeding with the deregistration procedure initiated by the wireless communication network on determining that the cause value is not one of the specific cause value for the deregistration procedure.-

Abstract: This disclosure provides a method for providing user equipment (UE) radio access capabilities in a handover procedure. Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling permissions of a UE for accessing a network. Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Methods and systems for handling network slice admission control for User Equipment (UE) are provided. The disclosure relates to network slicing and more particularly, to a system and method of ensuring that a communication system is able to accurately enforce quota on the maximum number of UEs concurrently registering for a network slice defined by a Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI). The disclosure describes how the limits of “Number of Terminals” configured for an S-NSSAI may be accurately maintained in a Network Slice Admission Control Function (NSACF), and thus the enforcement may be performed when the limit is really exhausted. The disclosure also describes that a deregistration notification from a Unified Data Management (UDM) may act as a trigger for an old Mobility Management Function (AMF) to decrement counts in the NSACF as the old AMF is no longer serving the UE.
