    Abstract: A display apparatus that includes a substrate comprising a display area and a non-display area on a periphery of the display area. A display device is on the display area. The display device comprises a light-emitting device electrically connected to a thin film transistor. A first barrier wall is on the non-display area. The first barrier wall surrounds the display area and comprises a first layer and a second layer. The first layer comprises a first portion having a first height from an upper surface of the substrate, and a second portion having a second height from the upper surface of the substrate that is less than the first height. The second layer is on the second portion.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor array substrate includes a substrate, at least one thin film transistor, a capacitor, an interlayer insulating layer, and a node connection line. The at least one thin film transistor is on the substrate. The capacitor is on the substrate and includes: a bottom electrode on the substrate; a top electrode overlapping the bottom electrode, the top electrode including an opening having a single closed curve shape; and a dielectric layer between the bottom electrode and the top electrode. The interlayer insulating layer covers the capacitor. The node connection line is on the interlayer insulating layer and electrically connects the capacitor to the at least one thin film transistor. An overlapping area of the bottom electrode and the top electrode is divided by the opening into two separate areas.

    Abstract: An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes a substrate having a display area displaying an image and a periphery area. The periphery area is located next to the display area. A first organic insulating layer is disposed on the substrate. The first organic insulating layer includes a valley portion separating the first organic insulating layer from the periphery area. A plurality of organic light-emitting devices is disposed on the substrate. Each of the organic light-emitting devices includes a first electrode, an emission layer, and a second electrode, sequentially disposed over the first organic insulating layer. The second electrode covers the emission layer and the valley portion. A second organic insulating layer is disposed over the first organic insulating layer and includes a first opening exposing a center portion of the first electrode and a second opening overlapping the valley portion. A capping layer covers the second electrode.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel and an infrared sensing module. The display panel includes an active region in which a pixel that emits light based on a data signal is disposed. The infrared sensing module transmits a first infrared light that passes through the active region and receives a second infrared light that passes through the active region to recognize an object. The wavelength of the first infrared light may have a wavelength greater than a predetermined value so that a luminance of light emitted by the pixel is not affected by operation of the infrared sensing module.

An inner wiring is disposed in the first area. An outer wiring is disposed in the second area.     Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area, an inspection terminal in the peripheral area and configured to transmit an inspection signal to the display area, an inspection wiring that connects the display area to the inspection terminal, a semiconductor resistor connected to each of the inspection terminal and the inspection wiring, an insulating film, and a planarization layer including a terminal opening. The planarization layer covers at least one end of the inspection terminal and the inspection terminal exposes a portion of the inspection terminal. The semiconductor resistor is below the inspection terminal, with an insulating film therebetween, and is in contact with the inspection terminal through a first contact hole defined in the insulating film. A portion of the semiconductor resistor is overlapped by the terminal opening.

    Abstract: An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a driving transistor having a gate electrode electrically connected to a first node and configured to supply a driving current to an OLED based on a voltage of the gate electrode. A storage capacitor electrically connects to the first node and is configured to maintain a constant voltage at the first node. A switching transistor electrically connects to the first node and includes a pair of transistors that are configured to be simultaneously turned on based on a first control signal. The transistors are serially connected to each other via a second node, and a current path circuit electrically connects to the second node and is configured to receive a charge stored in a capacitance of the second node when the switching transistor is turned off.
