    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a DPD training procedure. A base station may transmit, for a plurality of iterations, a signal to at least one UE through a plurality of transmit chains and with application of DPD. The signal transmitted for each iteration may be transmitted with a BW that extends over a plurality of subcarriers and includes pilots extending over a BW subset that increases in subcarrier size for each iteration. The base station may receive, for each iteration, feedback from the at least one UE based on the transmitted signal and apply DPD to each of the plurality of transmit chains based on the feedback. Accordingly, the base station may transmit to one or more UEs through the plurality of transmit chains and with application of the DPD pilot signals that extend over the entire BW.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a transmitting device may identify one or more blocks of data for transmission to a receiving device. The transmitting device may map subsets of bits of the one or more blocks of data to a constellation of symbol points of a modulation order to obtain a set of symbols and may then transmit a signal including the set of symbols to a receiving device. In some systems, a receiving device may receive, from the transmitting device, the signal including the set of symbols associated with blocks of data. The receiving device may de-map the set of symbols according to a constellation of symbol points of a modulation order to obtain a plurality of sets of de-mapped data bits and decode a plurality of sets of de-mapped data bits to obtain the blocks of data.

    Abstract: Methods related to wireless communication systems and the transmission of code blocks on such systems are provided. A wireless communication device interleaves a plurality of code block segments in time and frequency. The segments are interleaved by mapping a first code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a first resource located at a first time and a first frequency, wherein the first code block segment is associated with a first code block, and mapping a second code block segment of the plurality of code block segments to a second resource based on at least one of the first time or the first frequency of the first resource and a code block proximity parameter, wherein the second code block segment is associated with a second code block different from the first code block. The device then transmits the plurality of interleaved code block segments. Other features are also claimed and described.

In one aspect of the disclosure, a method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving first and second indications of respective first and second sets of subcarriers associated with respective first and second modulation orders.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a reference signal from a network entity. The UE may transmit, to the network entity, an estimation of a frequency domain imbalance between an in-phase portion of the reference signal and a quadrature-phase portion of the reference signal based on a precoding matrix associated with transmissions from the network entity and an estimation of one or more channel conditions between the UE and the network entity. The network entity may perform an imbalance compensation operation that balances the in-phase portion and the quadrature-phase portion of the transmission chain based on the estimation of the frequency domain imbalance. The UE may receive, from the network entity, a data transmission based on transmitting the indication of the estimation of the frequency domain imbalance.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may identify a set of data resource elements for transmitting data in one or more symbols periods. The first wireless device may generate, for the one or more symbol periods based on the set of data resource elements, a sequence of a set of pilot resource elements associated with the set of data resource elements, the sequence of the set of pilot resource elements including a demodulation reference signal. The first wireless device may transmit, to a second wireless device in the one or more symbol periods, the set of data resource elements and the set of pilot resource elements. The second wireless device may decode a first subset of the set of pilot resource elements based on a second subset of the set of pilot resource elements to determine the demodulation reference signal.
