Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a receiving device includes predicting with an artificial neural network, at each data block of a set of data blocks, a least complex demodulator that will achieve a goal. The predicting is based on features of a data block expected to be received at the receiving device. The method also includes dynamically selecting the least complex demodulator, from a set of demodulators with different levels of complexity, based on the features of the data block expected to be received. The method further includes demodulating the data block with the selected demodulator for the data block.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for reporting, by a device, positioning-related information to a network entity. In an example, the device receives signaling information of the network entity. The signaling information indicates one or more parameters for a report on a reference signal that is transmitted by a base station. The device also receives multiple propagations of the reference signal upon a transmission of the reference signal by the base station. Based on the signaling information, the device generates the report, where the report comprises a power and a time delay per propagation of the reference signal. The device transmits the report to the network entity, where a position of the device is determined by the network entity based on the report.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating autonomous synchronization are disclosed herein. For example, a UE may be configured to perform an initial synchronization directly to PSCCH and PSSCH when other synchronization sources, such as GNSS, a base station, and/or SLSS, are unavailable. An example method for wireless communication at a user equipment includes receiving a PSCCH. The example method also includes performing an initial synchronization based on the PSCCH. In some examples, the method may also include receiving a PSSCH, and determining a logical subframe number modulo 10 based on the PSSCH. Abstract: Method and apparatus for reduced signaling overhead in PAPR reduction techniques. The apparatus receives, from a transmitter, a signal comprising a set of overhead bits associated with a PAPR reduction sequence applied to a data signal from the signal, wherein the set of overhead bits are distinct from data symbols corresponding to the data signal. The apparatus decodes the set of overhead bits to identify the PAPR reduction sequence applied to the data signal from the signal. The apparatus removes the PAPR reduction sequence applied to the data signal. The apparatus decodes a remaining set of symbols of the data symbols from the signal, wherein the remaining set of symbols are free of the PAPR reduction sequence.
