Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may establish a first call associated with a first subscriber of the UE. The UE may establish a second call associated with a second subscriber of the UE, wherein the first subscriber and the second subscriber are active contemporaneously, and wherein the first call and the second call are associated with a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may identify a mobility event that associated with an interruption to at least one of the first call and the second call, the mobility event involving switching the first subscriber to a second RAT. The UE may perform a mitigation action. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect a radio link failure between the UE and a master node of a dual-connectivity configuration. The UE may transmit, to a secondary node in the dual-connectivity configuration, an indication that the radio link failure has occurred. The secondary node may receive the indication of a radio link failure and transmit the indication of the radio link failure to the master node of the dual-connectivity configuration. The master node may identify a target node for the UE and perform a handover procedure of the UE from the master node to the target node.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for optimizing procedures to update a UE radio capability ID (URCID) when a UE moves to a new Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) within a registration area. The techniques may help avoid unnecessary signaling traffic and reduce UE power consumption. An example method performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes receiving at least one URCID assigned by a first PLMN; and taking one or more actions to delay or avoid updating the URCID when moving to a second PLMN in a same registration area as the first PLMN.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a network configuration procedure has failed a threshold number of times for a first radio access technology (RAT). The UE may perform a first action to prevent execution of the network configuration procedure until a timer has elapsed based at least in part on determining that the network configuration procedure has failed the threshold number of times. The first action may include transmitting a message that indicates that the UE does not have a capability to communicate using the first RAT, barring a cell or a tracking area of the first RAT or a second RAT that assists with establishing a radio access network connection for the first RAT, and/or refraining from reporting measurement results for the first RAT.
