    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus, methods, processing systems, and computer readable mediums for indicating or switching among or between different precoding types for one or more communication elements. The one or more communication elements may be antennas of a wireless communication device (e.g., a UE or a BS) or elements of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). Techniques herein relate to indicating to one or more devices which precoding type to use for precoding one or more communication elements. For example, the techniques herein may be used for precoding communication elements of any suitable wireless communication device, such as antennas of a UE or BS, or RIS elements of a RIS.

    Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for wireless communication. A first network entity (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) can receive information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The information can be received from a second network entity (e.g., a base station). The first network entity can perform unicast data communication using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration, wherein the unicast data communication is performed between the first network entity and the second network entity. A second network entity (e.g., a base station) can transmit, to a user equipment (UE), information indicative of a configuration for multicast discontinuous reception (DRX). The second network entity can perform unicast data communication with the UE using one or more multicast DRX cycles of a plurality of multicast DRX cycles corresponding to the configuration.

    Abstract: A network node may configure a UE for discontinuous reception (DRX). The network node may transmit, to the UE, a plurality of DRX configurations. Further, the network node may transmit, to the UE, information associated with an active time of a first DRX configuration of the plurality of DRX configurations, with the active time being different from an inactive time of the first DRX configuration. Further, the network node may transmit, to the UE, data based on the active time of the first DRX configuration. The UE may receive the plurality of DRX configurations. Further, the UE may receive the information associated with the active time of the first DRX configuration. The UE may monitor for data based on the active time of the first DRX configuration.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a relay user equipment (UE) may receive a packet from a source node. The UE may identify a select mini-slot or a select sub-band for transmitting the packet based at least in part on a reference signal measurement that is indicated per mini-slot of a plurality of mini-slots or per sub-band of a plurality of sub-bands. The UE may transmit the packet to a destination node using the select mini-slot or the select sub-band. Numerous other aspects are described.
