摘要: The present invention has an object to obtain an accurate amount of intake air at the time of an operation of an EGR mechanism in a control system of an internal combustion engine which is provided with a first fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into a cylinder, a second fuel injection valve for injecting fuel into an intake port, and the EGR mechanism. In order to achieve this object, the present invention resides in a control system of an internal combustion engine which is provided with a first fuel injection valve that injects fuel into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a second fuel injection valve that injects fuel into an intake port of the internal combustion engine, an EGR passage that introduces an EGR gas from an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine to an intake passage thereof, an EGR valve that is arranged in the EGR passage, and an obtaining means that obtains an amount of intake air in the internal combustion engine, wherein when the EGR valve is open, a determination is made based on a value of a cylinder injection ratio, as to whether the amount of intake air is in an increasing tendency or in a decreasing tendency with respect to a change in the cylinder injection ratio, and a value of the amount of intake air thus obtained is corrected according to a result of the determination.

摘要: An MBT ignition time and a knock ignition time are acquired from an engine rotation speed and engine load, and an ignition time on a delay angle side, out of these ignition times, is set as the most advance angle ignition time. An ignition time on the delay angle side only by the KCS learning value with respect to the most advance angle ignition time is set as a required ignition time, and when an actual ignition time set by a knock control system exceeds a predetermined amount and is positioned on the delay angle side with respect to the required ignition time, it is determined that abnormality occurs in an oil jet. Fail-safe processing to the effect that the opening degrees of a throttle valve are corrected to a closed side is executed in response to the abnormality determination.

摘要: The internal combustion engine includes a turbocharger and a waste-gate valve. When the operation resumption request is generated while the internal combustion engine is stopped due to automatic stop control, the waste-gate valve fully opens as far as the engine speed is not lower than a predetermined revolution speed. Further, self-recovery control is executed over the internal combustion engine (or more specifically, a fuel injection and ignition operation is resumed). Meanwhile, in a case where the engine speed is lower than the predetermined revolution speed when the operation resumption request is generated, the waste-gate valve fully closes. Subsequently, stop control, which has already been initiated, is continuously executed to bring the internal combustion engine to a complete stop. The waste-gate valve reverts to an open position in preparation for the restart of the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A control device for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine executes feedback control such that an air-fuel ratio detected by an air-fuel ratio detecting unit becomes a target air-fuel ratio, carries out external EGR, and, when an abnormal deviation that an air-fuel ratio of at least any one of cylinders deviates from the target air-fuel ratio has occurred during the feedback control, detects the abnormal deviation and an abnormal cylinder. When the abnormal deviation has been detected during feedback control and external EGR, the control device corrects the target air-fuel ratio to compensate for a detection error of the air-fuel ratio detecting unit due to the influence of specific components of exhaust gas. The control device changes the correction mode on the basis of whether the abnormal cylinder causes more intensive gas flow or equal or less intensive gas flow against the air-fuel ratio detecting unit than the other cylinders.

摘要: With a control apparatus of a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine, external EGR that circulates exhaust gas in an exhaust passage to an intake passage is executed, and an air-fuel ratio is feedback-controlled such that an air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas comes to match a predetermined target air-fuel ratio. When a rich deviation in which the air-fuel ratio of a portion of cylinders is off to a rich side from the target air-fuel ratio is detected, a parameter indicative of an amount of the rich deviation is calculated. The target air-fuel ratio is corrected to the rich side according to the calculated parameter. A value of a parameter at which the rich correction is started is changed according to whether external EGR is being executed.
