Abstract:
A method for measuring, by a terminal, the location of a terminal in a wireless network according to the present invention includes the steps of: determining based on a received signal whether the number of access points (APs) that transmit the signal is three or more; storing location information on a first AP obtained based on the received signal and distance information between the terminal and the first AP at a point receiving the signal if the number of the APs is less than three; measuring a travel distance and a travel direction according to the movement of the terminal from the point receiving the signal; obtaining, based on the signals received from a second and a third AP, location information on the second and third APs and distance information between the terminal and each of the second and third APs at the current point, if it is determined that the number of the APs that transmit signals from the current point according to the movement to the terminal is three or more; and calculating the location of the current point of the terminal based on the distance information between the terminal and each of the second and third APs at the current point, distance information between the terminal and the first AP, and the measured travel distance and the measured travel direction.

A method for transmitting information data by using a Reed-Muller coding scheme in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes configuring a number of resource elements for transmitting the information data; dividing the information data to first information data and second information data if a bit size O of the information data is equal to or larger than a predetermined number; applying RM coding on each of the first information data and the second information data; concatenating the coded first information data and the coded second information data, and transmitting the concatenated data by using the predetermined number of resource elements, wherein a minimum value Q′min for the number of resource elements is defined by a sum of a minimum value Q′min—1 for the number of resource elements corresponding to the first information data and a minimum value Q′min—2 for the number of resource elements corresponding to the second information data.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for efficiently performing device to device synchronization and device identification in a device to device communication system, and devices for supporting the methods. The method for supporting device to device synchronization and identification in a wireless access system that supports device to device communication according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: allowing a first device to broadcast a RACH signal for device to device synchronization in a peer discovery section; allowing the first device to receive a first response message transmitted from a second device as a response to the RACH signal; and transmitting a message including device identification information for the first device to the second device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of setting uplink transmission power by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method of setting uplink transmission power by the terminal may include: assigning a plurality of serving cells by a base station; transmitting a random access message including a random access preamble from a secondary cell Scell of the plurality of serving cells to the base station; receiving a random access response message from the base station in response to the random access message; and resetting, in response to receiving the random access response message, a factor of an accumulated mode representing the current uplink transmission control adjusted state at the Scell to which the random access message is transmitted.

A positioning method of estimating a location of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network is disclosed. The positioning method includes performing positioning using a global positioning system (GPS)-based signal, checking whether the UE is located indoors based on received signal intensity of the GPS-based signal, and changing a positioning method using the GPS-based signal to a positioning method using a local area network (LAN)-based signal when it is determined that the UE is located indoors, and performing a positioning using the changed positioning method using the LAN-based signal.
Abstract:
The present invention provides definition of an identifier which is required for recognizing information essential for device to device communication, a transmission method thereof, and devices that support the same. The method for supporting device to device (D2D) communication in a wireless access system that supports D2D communication as one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of allowing a first D2D device to receive, from a base station, a broadcast message which contains a common D2D identifier (C-D2D-RNTI) for all D2D devices that perform D2D communication; and allowing the first D2D device to receive the transmitted D2D-related information by using the C-D2D-RNTI. In this situation, the wireless access system can support both D2D communication and cellular communication for a normal terminal instead of the D2D device.
