Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a network access method, a proximity communications server, a relay terminal, and a terminal. The method includes: receiving a relay access verification request sent by a relay terminal, where the relay access verification request is sent by a relay terminal after a relay connection request sent by a terminal is received; verifying, according to the relay access verification request, whether the terminal is authorized to perform network access by using the relay terminal; and sending a relay authorization response message to the relay terminal, where the relay authorization response message carries indication information indicating whether the terminal is allowed to perform network access by using the relay terminal. Therefore, it is achieved that communications reliability is enhanced when a mobile communications network supports a trunking communications function and when some terminals are out of a mobile communication connection or outside network coverage.
Abstract:
A method for reporting radio bearer loss information is provided in an embodiment of this invention. The method comprises: receiving a User Equipment UE Context Release Request message or a Release Access Bearer Request message or an Iu interface release request message all carrying a release cause value; and if the release cause value indicates an abnormal release, reporting radio bearer loss information to a gateway while preserving non-GBR bearers. With the method and apparatus of embodiments of this invention, not only bearer reporting can be realized, but also problems caused by the release of Non-Guaranteed Bandwidth non-GBR bearers can be prevented.
Abstract:
A service implementation method, apparatus, and system are disclosed. The service implementation method includes: receiving, by a serving gateway, a data packet of a terminal device sent by a packet data network gateway; if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent a paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, skipping, by the serving gateway, sending a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; or if the data packet is a data packet with a serving priority and the serving gateway has sent no paging trigger message with a serving priority to a mobility management element, sending, by the serving gateway, a paging trigger message to the mobility management element; wherein the paging trigger message is used to enable the mobility management element to page the terminal device.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application provide a multicast/broadcast service communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: a first terminal device receives first information, where the first information indicates activation or release of a first multicast/broadcast session, the first terminal device joins the first multicast/broadcast session, the first terminal device is in a radio resource control inactive state, and the first multicast/broadcast session is used for transmitting a first multicast/broadcast service; and the first terminal device enters a connected state or keeps in the radio resource control inactive state based on the first information. According to the method, a terminal device that is in a radio resource control inactive state and that is allowed to receive a multicast/broadcast service in this state does not enter a connected state, thereby helping reduce network overheads.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, and a device. An example method includes: A base station receives a first message from a first network device, the first message includes first indication information, and the first indication information indicates a multicast session. The base station sends radio bearer information corresponding to the multicast session to a terminal device based on the first message, where the first message includes information indicating the terminal device, and where the radio bearer information indicates to the terminal device to join the multicast session.
Abstract:
Example network admission control methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a first network entity of a first network sends a first request to a second network entity in at least one second network. The first request includes one or more of a request of a proposed adjustment of the at least one roaming budget of at least one roaming related parameter, a request of a new budget of the at least one roaming budget of at least one roaming related parameter, and a request of the admission control of the at least one roaming UE for the at least one network slice. The first network entity receives a first response from the second network entity, wherein the first response indicates whether the second network entity accepts or rejects the proposed adjustment of the at least one roaming budget.
Abstract:
The technology of this application relates to a data transmission method. The method includes an application server sending a subscription request to a core network element, to subscribe to a notification indicating whether transmitting data of a first service to first user equipment in a multicast mode is supported, so that a transmission mode of the data of the first service can be flexibly selected based on a subscription result.
Abstract:
Embodiments of this application provide a radio bearer configuration method, an apparatus, and a system. A multicast radio bearer used to receive a multicast/broadcast service is established between a terminal and a base station, to reduce complexity of processing the data of the multicast service by the base station. This solution includes: A base station receives a first request message, where the first request message requests to add a first terminal to a multicast/broadcast service; and the base station sends configuration information of a multicast radio bearer to the first terminal based on quality of service QoS flow information of the multicast/broadcast service. The configuration information is used to configure the multicast radio bearer, the multicast radio bearer is used to transmit data of the multicast/broadcast service to a terminal that has joined the multicast/broadcast service, and the terminal that has joined the multicast/broadcast service includes the first terminal.
Abstract:
This application provides a communication method and a communications apparatus, to help control switching of a PDU session, thereby improving system performance. The method includes: determining, by a network device based on switching indication information of protocol data unit PDU sessions established by a terminal in a first network, a target PDU session from the established PDU sessions, where all the established PDU sessions have a same data network name DNN; and sending, by the network device, session information of the target PDU session to a mobility management entity device in a second network.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a mobility management method, apparatus, and system, and pertain to the field of wireless communications technologies. The method includes: determining, by a first mobility management entity based on information about a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection established by user equipment in a 4G network, a network slice corresponding to the PDN connection, and then determining, with reference to a subscribed network slice of the user equipment, a network slice allowed for the user equipment.
