Abstract:
A method for setting blind rivet elements in which the setting of the respective blind rivet element introduced into a pre-hole of the work piece and/or the formation of a rivet collar takes place in a setting stroke (SH) through the permanent deformation of a section of the blind rivet element by subjecting an end of the blind rivet element to a traction force by a traction element of a setting tool while simultaneously supporting another end of the blind rivet element on a support part of the setting tool counter to the traction force.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for the binaural reproduction of audio sonar signals, which can be direction-selectively received by a sonar system having a receiving antenna provided with a plurality of transducers, and at least one direction generator, and which can be modified by binaural audio signal processing. The apparatus comprises a portable sound reproduction device, particularly a headphone, and a head tracking sensor connected to the sound reproduction device for registering position changes of the sound reproduction device. Signals, associated with the position changes, are generated, which are transferred to the direction generator, in order to select a direction of the sound waves to be received.
Abstract:
A rolling bearing for a turbocharger, which has an outer ring with a first rolling element raceway, an inner ring with a second rolling element raceway, and several rolling elements accommodated in rolling element pockets of a rolling element cage. The rolling element cage has a guide surface, which is guided on an inner surface of the outer ring and arranged on a smaller radius than the radius of the first rolling element raceway. The rolling element cage has an extension, which is arranged over the circumference of the rolling element cage and extended annularly in the radial direction, on the side opposite the guide surface.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a joint bush, for use in a joint between two components or workpieces, comprising a first sleeve-like bush section, which transforms at one sleeve end into a second flange-like bush section which projects over the circumferential surface of the first bush section.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a new design for a hydraulic processing tong for processing workpieces, with a tool, which in a first tool part has an axially movable press ram or plunger, which with a first end or a tool located there and an opposing workpiece assembly forms a work area or work gap and with the first end can move toward and away from the workpiece assembly, and with a hydraulic actuating device for applying a force to the press ram, causing it to move in the direction of the workpiece assembly.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a processing clamp for machining and/or processing of workpieces with large processing forces, including a clamp body with a first clamp arm and a second clamp arm and at least a tool with a first tool part and a second tool part which are movable relative to each other and define a working region. The first tool part is arranged to be traversable along a vertical tool axis on the first clamp arm to close the working region and the second tool part is arranged on the second clamp arm to form a workpiece abutment for at least one workpiece. The first tool part is adjustable from a starting position into a working position by an adjustment device. An actuating device is provided for applying a high processing power acting along the tool axis to the first tool part after the adjustment into the working position by the adjustment device.

A bearing unit for a turbocharger, including a bearing housing extending in an axial direction and also including a bearing cartridge arranged within the bearing housing, wherein between the outer circumference of the bearing cartridge and the bearing housing there is formed an intermediate space with an oil film, and wherein the bearing housing has a supply bore formed for the supply of oil to the oil film. The bearing cartridge includes a rolling bearing, the outer cartridge ring of which is mounted in a freely rotatable manner in the oil film. A bearing unit for a turbocharger, the bearing cartridge of which includes a rolling bearing, the bearing outer ring of which is mounted in a freely rotatable manner in the oil film. By means of bearing units of such design, it is possible to ensure the secure mounting of a shaft even without a separate twist prevention device.
Abstract:
Process for attaching a functional element to a plastically deformable flat material or workpiece, the functional element on a contact surface having a rivet collar which is formed by a hollow or tubular section and which stands away over this surface, in the joining area in the flat material by plastic deformation a dome-like section being formed which with its base projects over the plane of the flat material surrounding this section and on the base has a joining opening, and the attachment of the functional element to the flat material in a joining and riveting process taking place by insertion of the rivet collar into the joining opening and by plastic deformation of the rivet collar such that the base is held in a region of the base which surrounds the joining opening between the deformed rivet collar and the contact surface or end side of the functional element, the functional element being anchored on the edge region which surrounds the joining opening without reducing the diameter of the joining opening.
