Abstract:
An electric submersible pump device has a pump and a motor. The motor can be adjacent to the pump. A support member supports the sensor and has a length so that the sensor is located a first distance downhole from a downhole distal end of the motor.
Abstract:
A medicated module for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts a medicated module containing a single dose of a secondary medicament and where both medicaments are delivered through a hollow needle. The medicated module is initially in a locked state until attached to a drug delivery where a locking plate is moved to a triggering state. The medicated module does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a biasing member automatically activates the reservoir when the needle guard is retracted when the module is in the triggering state. The needle guard prevents accidental needle sticks before and after an injection, and locks after dose delivery.
Abstract:
A system and method for adding value to a customer account are provided. An identifier associated with a value is distributed to a customer. The identifier is usable to add the value to an account. A request to add the value to a customer account is received via short message service (SMS). The request comprises the identifier and account identification information associated with the customer account. In some embodiments, the identifier may be entered into the device using text auto-completion software. The request is received from a user communication device as an SMS message. The value associated with the identifier and the customer account associated with the account identification number are identified based on the request. The value is caused to be added to the customer account. A confirmation that the value was added to the customer account is passed to the user communication device.
Abstract:
In order to blend fuels to meet specific regulatory and industry requirements, for instance octane requirements, different octane blending components can be used. One added component includes a composition of higher aromatics content. Unfortunately, this aromatic content may increase the particulate emissions of an internal combustion engine when the high aromatic fuel is combusted in that engine. As explained herein, reducing the aromatics content and replacing that octane increasing requirement with an alternative octane enhancer results in a formulated fuel that will have lower particulate emissions in the real-world driving of that engine as compared with a fuel having higher aromatic content.
Abstract:
An air delivery system includes a controllable flow generator operable to generate a supply of pressurized breathable gas to be provided to a patient for treatment and a pulse oximeter configured to determine a measure of patient effort during a treatment period and provide a patient effort signal for input to control operation of the flow generator.
Abstract:
A method and system uses a constrained set of indexed samples to identify a next generation population of samples that exhibits a more desirable signal characteristic. The invention generates an intermediate set of indexed samples which are subjected to a fitness function and next generation calculations to produce next generation indexes for the next population of samples. The next generation indexes population of samples is further constrained over initial indexes for generating a more desirable signal characteristic. In dynamic spectrum access networks having OFDM components, the interference between collections of overlay and underlay signals is adaptively controlled based on the composite PAPR. In an example, the total out-of-band interference for the collection of overlay and underlay signals for all samples of the population are reduced.
Abstract:
A passive radio-frequency identification (RFID) system has an RFID reader that communicates with and provides power to an RFID tag. The RFID tag has an RFID integrated circuit chip that contains a memory device for storing information to be transmitted to the RFID reader, and energy storage device that stores energy for powering the integrated circuit chip. In the event that the RFID tag is activated during periods when the RFID integrated circuit chip is not receiving sufficient energy from the RFID reader, then either an energy storage device is provided to allow the activation event to be recorded at the RFID integrated circuit chip, or a memory device is provided that senses and records the activation event and communicates this activation event once power has been restored.
Abstract:
A tire is disclosed that includes at least one annular bead wire forming a body of revolution about a reference axis. A carcass ply of generally toroidal shape about the same axis as the bead wire has a portion that is folded around the wire. A materials interface is defined at least in part by the junction between a rubber first mass and a second mass that includes an electronic member. By way of example, the electronic member is a passive radiofrequency identification transponder. The interface extends from a free edge of the folded portion of the carcass ply radially away from the reference axis to a circumferential junction line between the interface and the carcass ply.
Abstract:
A medicated module (4) for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments (1, 2) is disclosed where a primary delivery device (7) containing a primary medicament (1) accepts a medicated module (4) containing a single dose of a secondary medicament (2) and where both medicaments (1, 2) are delivered through a single hollow needle (3, 16, 21, 31).
Abstract:
A method of tracking scored candidate objects in a sequence of image frames acquired by a camera is provided. The scored candidate objects may comprise a set of existing scored candidate objects associated with a prior image frame and a set of new scored candidate objects associated with a next image frame.
