    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a UE, e.g., associated with a host vehicle. The apparatus transmits a message comprising at least one of a lane change request or a lane space reservation and monitors for a response to the message. An apparatus at a first UE associated with a remote vehicle receives a message comprising at least one of a lane change request or a lane space reservation from a second UE. The apparatus determines whether to accept the lane change request or the lane space reservation from the second UE and transmits a response to the message accepting or rejecting the lane change request or the lane space reservation.

    Abstract: Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes determining one or more sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) configurations associated with at least a communication on a sidelink, determining a wake up indication configuration associated with the one or more sidelink DRX configurations, monitoring for at least one wake up indication from at least one other UE based on the wake up indication configuration, the at least one wake up indication indicating a sidelink DRX on phase associated with the sidelink DRX configuration, deciding an action for the sidelink DRX on phase based on the at least one wake up indication for the at least one communication on the sidelink, and performing the action in accordance with the decision.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A multicast architecture may support flexible change between unicast and multicast operations and may support additional traffic types (e.g., Internet Protocol and Ethernet traffic). For example, the multicast architecture may include transmitting data over a shared multicast radio bearer (MRB) and/or specific data radio bearers (DRBs), a multicast user plane function (UPF) for supplying the multicast data to a base station, multicast data from different radio access networks (RANs), protecting the multicast data through creating a group key, ciphering the multicast data sent on the MRB using the group key, and transitioning the multicast data from a source RAN to a target RAN.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to relaying data between a PC5 remote UE and a network entity (e.g., 5G core network entity) via an inter-working function (e.g., N3IWF) over sidelink UE-to-NW relay access. In an example operation, a relay UE establishes a connection with the network entity and determines whether relay access to the network entity via an inter-working function device is supported at the relay UE. The relay UE then indicates, to the remote UE, support of the relay access to the network entity via the inter-working function device. The relay UE receives, from the remote UE, a request to relay data between the remote UE and the network entity via the inter-working function device, and thereafter, relays the data between the remote UE and the network entity via the inter-working function device based on the request. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
