Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration indicating a first SRS resource set that includes NSRS,0_21 SRS resources and a second SRS resource set that includes NSRS,0_22 SRS resources, the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set being configured for uplink transmissions scheduled by a second downlink control information (DCI) format. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission scheduled using the second DCI format, the uplink transmission being transmitted based at least in part on the SRS configuration. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a beam configuration for each physical cell identifier (PCI) of a set of candidate PCIs. A beam configuration for a PCI may include, for example, transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for downlink channels and reference signals or spatial relations for uplink channels and reference signals. The UE may receive an indication of a selected subset of PCIs of the set of candidate PCIs. The UE may apply the beam configuration for each PCI of the selected subset of PCIs based on the indication of the selected subset of PCIs. The UE may then communicate according to the beam configurations for the selected subset of PCIs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device, which may be otherwise known as user equipment (UE) may support repetition of physical downlink control channels (PDCCH) and handling a combined PDCCH candidate associated with multiple search space sets. For example, a UE may combine a first PDCCH candidate corresponding to a first search space set and a second PDCCH candidate corresponding to a second search space set to form a combined PDCCH candidate. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate based on one or more factors, for example, such as a blind decoding PDCCH candidate threshold. As a result, the UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidate in addition to decoding of individual PDCCH candidates, thereby providing increased flexibility for downlink control information (DCI) and improving the reliability of PDCCH.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may provide hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for multiple physical channels (e.g., multiple physical downlink shared channels (PDSCH)) scheduled via cross component carrier scheduling. A base station may transmit downlink control information (DCI) messages via physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), to the UE to schedule the multiple PDSCH over multiple component carriers. The UE may monitor for the multiple PDSCH over the multiple component carriers, respectively. The UE may identify resource allocations to use for HARQ feedback transmissions associated with the multiple PDSCH, based on the DCI messages received. The DCI may include a number of control fields that the UE may use to determine resource allocations to use for the HARQ feedback transmissions. The UE may thus improve coverage for wireless communications by supporting HARQ feedback for multiple PDSCH scheduled via cross component carrier.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for signaling for configuring downlink transmissions are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message from a base station indicating that a control resource set (CORESET) for a downlink control channel is associated with a set of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE may subsequently receive a control message from the base station activating one or more of the TCI states. The UE may decode the downlink control channel based on the configuration message and the one or more activated TCI states. The UE may identify one or more TCI states (e.g., associated with the CORESET) to apply to a reception of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. The UE may determine to apply one or more of the TCI states activated by the control message. The UE may determine to apply one or more different TCI states.

Abstract: Aspects for enhanced logical channel prioritization mapping procedures and restrictions are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a network entity, a logical channel prioritization (LCP) restriction configuration for a logical channel indicating a set of Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) configurations associated with the logical channel; determining, by the network entity, data of the logical channel of a particular UE is to be scheduled; transmitting, by the network entity, an uplink grant indicating an uplink grant instance for the particular UE, wherein the uplink grant instance indicates an SRS configuration of the set of SRS configurations; and receiving, by the network entity, a transmission corresponding to the uplink grant instance and including the data of the logical channel. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support one or more signaling- or configuration-based mechanisms according to which the UE and the network entity may dynamically control a type of semi-persistent SRS resource set associated with activation and deactivation by downlink control information (DCI). The network entity may transmit an indication of a set of semi-persistent SRS resource sets associated with DCI activation to the UE via radio resource control (RRC) signaling and may activate one or more semi-persistent SRS resource sets from the set of semi-persistent SRS resource sets via a DCI message. To facilitate activation by DCI, the UE and the network entity may support a mapping between a set of DCI codepoints and multiple sets of one or more semi-persistent SRS resource sets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications that support physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) carrying hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ-A) for multiple transmission reception point (multi-TRP) environments with non-ideal backhaul links are described. A user equipment (UE) may support multiple communication links with TRPs and receive distinct physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) messages that include downlink control information (DCI). The DCI may include a timing or resource indication index values for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission. Based on the index values, the UE may differentiate the received DCI indications. The UE may then schedule PUCCH transmissions, including hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) payloads, directed to the TRPs. In some examples, the scheduling may include mapping the PUCCH transmissions to resources or resource groups in configured PUCCH resource set. The UE may then transmit the PUCCH messages via one or more determined beams based on the indication index values.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support various configurations that enable repetitions of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission according to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) associated with a PDSCH configuration and an SPS configuration. The UE may determine a number of PDSCH repetitions for a PDSCH transmission (e.g., an SPS PDSCH transmission) based on a rule associated with a priority between time domain resource allocation (TDRA) entries and configured repetition factors in an SPS configuration or a PDSCH configuration. The repetition number may be included in the TDRA entry, and the UE may receive a number of PDSCH repetitions based on a value of the PDSCH repetition number, or one instance of PDSCH may be received in each SPS period.
